Like Reba mentioned Ruby sang a Western song. Western or cowboy music was similar to, but different from Country or Appalachia music. Buck Owen's was probably the last Western music singer.

I still miss Marty Robbins, Eddie Arnold, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Kitty Wells, & Jerry & esp Harve Presnell who I always thought never got his due esp the song "mariah". He could sing anything from opera, country, pop, Broadway. And alot of country singers on the "voice" to include the latest "Ruby Leigh". She's right up there with Patsy Cline & brings back the old country we all love.

I'M SITTING AND CRYING 'CAUSE I NEVER THOUGHT I'D HEAR THESE SONGS AGAIN 🎵. THE YOUNG MAN WHO SANG TULSA TIME IS ACTUALLY QUITE ILL. HE HAS BLOOD CANCER AND HAS TO GO TO HOSPITAL ONCE A WEEK FOR CHEMO TREATMENT. YET LISTEN TO HIM SING AND YOU WOULDN'T KNOW THAT HIS LUNGS AREN'T FUNCTIONING PROPERLY.
