I'm blessed to have a Sushiro near my house so I'm guilty of heading there whenever I don't feel like cooking - which is a LOT haha but it really is so much cheaper to cook at home so this video is dedicated to all those out there (especially my broke ALT friends, ahem you know who you are) who tend to eat outside → there are so many easy things you can make so give your kitchen some love and make some healthy dinners at home!
00:00 Intro
00:14 ① Yakisoba
00:40 ② Spaghetti
01:16 ③ Fried Rice
01:37 ④ Saba and Miso Soup
02:22 ⑤ Veggie Soup + Battered Fish
03:02 ⑥ Mixed Rice + Karaage
03:51 ⑦ Udon
04:12 ⑧ Gyoza and Tamagoyaki
04:49 ⑨ Oyakodon
05:17 ⑩ Okonomiyaki
Please don't judge me too hard on the dishes haha I know I could have done better 😭 Will work harder to be a good Japanese housewife HAHA. I love Japanese dishes but really miss Singaporean food... Tried making some with whatever ingredients I can find here but it just doesn't taste the same 😔 Hope I get some suggestions on yummy food I can try making!

Very informative !🙏👍🏼, I’m moving to Japan to work as an ALT in Kyushu very soon, was wondering which part of Japan you are at so I can make comparison with prices and cost of living. Again much thanks for the video 👍🏼👏

I wanted to ask something , the apartment security deposit etc you dont get any of them back ? They say its like giving 5 months of rent in advance when you first move in ? Is that true ?

@@theonewhoasked3062 Hi! I haven’t moved out of my apartment yet so I can’t say for sure, but I think we won’t get any money back when we move out 😅 I posted a video on the initial fees I had to pay moving to Japan, and I included how much it cost me to move in to the apartment! So it’s key money to the apartment company (1 month rent) + money to the company who acts as your guarantor (1 month rent) + the rent for the month you’re moving in + the rent for the following month and cleaning fees etc… but sometimes there are promotions! I moved in when there was a promotion so I didn’t have to pay the key money or the rent for the month I moved in.
