You had the tune right a few times ,there is only so much that you can do as far as carb adjustments go for performance ,it either falls on its face too lean or too rich ,this is where people get confused about a tune ,this model or model's like this is ,well ,just what it is ,which isn't a bad thing ,just something to have fun with!..😎 This video is a great example of it on how much performance that you can only squeeze out of what you have , the carb is fine ,even if you bought a high end carb ,its not going to make it faster! Great vid ,you do a awesome job!..😎👍

Something I did to my baja 5b ss. I snapped off all the outside cooling fins on the flywheel and then carefully ground them all flat. Checked it for balance. Ran that flywheel for about 10 years on three different motors. It will make a big difference in off the line acceleration!!!😲😳

I would think you must live in a cool climate. Doing that in hot weather would probably reduce engine life. But each to there own

@@SlickTrickRC just make sure flywheel is perfectly balanced (lawn mower blade balancer). If it's out of balance it will grenade on you!!!

That X-can exhaust would also be too small not letting the motor breath. Rovan makes a center pipe same as the CPI center pipe. A good all around pipe. Very linear in its power!

What am I doing today lol I'm watching what rc guy garage is doing today, hope ur neighbors pipe down on ya, it's not like you are working on an earthquake engine but I do get ur point, but u know they could take a different approach and just find out a little bit and get into what ur doing g they might fi d a new hobby in their future???? As far as the rc???? Man I wish I could help just don't have one of my own yet, and a Mohave is my next buy, might just find a used arrma platform and build it from there not sure yet, with the manufacturer hic ups everyone seems to be getting might actually be the best way to go, agin not sure, but I do want to buy a cheap little gasser and baby step my way into it, you all inspire me.

I'd give that low end about 3hr rich Left...she's not happy. High side sounds pretty close lean is mean..lol. I put VP octaniam booster in my 93 gas makes 105 she rips and smells like a 2 stroke dirt bike race from the 90s

Just put 24/48 I believe or 26/48 on my rovan 5b. Hope to see a big difference.36cc and it's decent 38-40 but seem slow after a while like it gears out to fast

Honestly, as much as I love hearing gas/nitro rc's, I'm going to stick with electric , unless they invent an engine/motor you don't have to tune after or before running . Great video , electric is stressful enough but gas/nitro is madness . 😂🤣😂

Great Rip! Exceed 5th scale not sure if they are walbro carbs they could be a chinese carb and thats the reason having so much probs. If it doesnt say walbro on the carb.. then maybe get a walbro carb for it prob run much better.

Doesn’t the tank need a pin hole in the lid so it does not get negative pressure in the tank. Does that work the same way as my 2 stroke weed waker I’m not even sure Is the tank work like a Revo tank does. Is there a line from the muffler to the tank.

No pin hole. Minimal tank pressure while running, fuel from tank to carb back to tank through return line

Hi, what mixture are you running it with? 1:25? I drive mine at 1:28, but you can also drive 1:33 without any problems, then it has even more power.

I think the whole issue was you used the wrong screwdriver. Instead of the tuneing screwdriver you used the detuneing screwdriver. Lol.

What type of fuel are you using? Mixed pump gas? I was using 95 non ethanol premixed from vp racing fuels

The shape of your exhaust pipe tells me its power range is low to mid range, will not gave any top end for speed.

@@rcguygarage and that too. A 8k rpm clutch spring will do wonders! The pipe is the same that came on the 26cc stroker motor with my baja 5b ss. If your motor is a 32cc might be a tad on the small side. And designed for low to mid power and falls off on power at the top of the rpms
