As someone who worked the front desk of a hotel for 2 years: It's fine Emily. Sneak them in. We don't care as long as it doesn't cause damage or complaints. Snakes are nothing compared the the time a guy tried to sneak 10 huskys in and then played dumb when we asked him why his room sounded like a kennel

The Greatest Commandment 34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.

@@klcatlin unusual indeed, the behaviour of new England ospreys is more similar to old England seagulls, maybe it's due to similar circumstances to gulls (fish eating bird becomes opportunistic to cope with urbanisation, even if British seagulls are more interested in chips and rats than chihuahuas),or maybe it's due to their recent extinction and reintroduction to Britain,as their stronghold, Scotland already has plentiful scavenging raptors like the red kite and buzzard and is home to golden eagles, birds of prey that are large enough to eat foxes,so it acts more as a freshwater equivalent to white tailed sea eagles (another recently reintroduced species and Britain's largest raptor) than compete against bigger birds...

They have (or had? haven't heard about it for a while) a salamader larvae that just won't grow up and for all intents and purposes might as well be an axolotl (I think the number of toes differs and one of the two doesn't like too much water flow, but looks and behavior are the same) maybe they still have it and will display it? Alright so as a Spider nerd from France, a place where we find wild ladybug spiders, let me explain you the origin of their very weird common names : Ladybug spider comes from the coloration of the male, which has a red abdomen with black spots. It is also why it's called the False jumping spider because we have a jumping spider with very similar coloration (the male of Philaeus chrysops) and both spiders can be found around the same places. The males do like to wander a lot but the females do live in silk tunnels, which is also where the false jumping spider comes from. As for velvet spider, it comes from the female appearance, which is very velvet-y.

@@ThirrinDiamond I don’t know who you’re talking about specifically cause I know there’s tons of problematic people out there but it’s horrible to play with nature like that. The only time its acceptable to take animals from the wild is if they’re invasive (like Em and Ed have done with the anole for eg.) and then sometimes those invasive species can be a food source for people’s pets or become a pet or animal ambassador themselves. I know of a pet/wildlife youtuber who doesn’t let invasive Burmese pythons go to waste so they feed already culled burmes to their king cobras which would be eating Burmese pythons in the wild anyway.
