Dont ashamed to get tested and start on meds, it will really help you and the people around you. Make sure your CD4 count is above 250/350 and VL (TND). And for those who are not positive for any of the STD. Its good to always get yourself checked for STD test every 3/6 months. One must also practice safe sex using barrier Methods to avoid STD transmission. If you are HIV+ or syphillis/herpes/ hepB please don’t try to infect the other one who is negative.Please don’t do it. You can get yourself checked in govt (district) hospital or any PVT clinic which has the facility

Sex education must be compulsory in every school..... We Naga's don't talk about sex so the younger generation are doing it without any knowledge, we can't stop people from having sex but atleast we can educate them on safe sex.

I heard a story about a Naga man who married an innocent woman and the mother and child were infected with HIV later came to know that the husband was already an HIV patient he murdered the innocent woman’s life and the child too. He should have told her before making love. Such evil people in society are unacceptable.

One district particularly chumoukidima the number of HIV /Aids are huge.. The number may not be wrong for the report is exactly from medical department tested recently.. But those who have tested positive ➕ should come forward for there are so much medical fascility these days to cure the deadly disease. Otherwise it may cause them more heavily in future for ➕ loves one's as well. 👃

If mass testing of HIV took place in entire Nagaland, then I'm pretty sure more than 50 per cent of the population will be tested +ve. Once I came across an article on HIV that says, it takes approximately 10 years for symtopms to show up, further it says that some might experience mild symptoms for few days right after being infected.

In such a social sphere, detaching a meaning out of an object is not an easy feat but our history has proven that it's possible with collective effort. You see, our forefathers desacrilized a substantial amount of objects and beliefs. They were able to remove meanings and values because they their faith propelled them to. We too can remove the "filth" from the imagined "filthy disease" and set the victims free. Remember the real disease is the mindset not the disease per se.
