Three months ago I gave up all sweeteners (sugar/stevia, etc.) and all grains. I did not realize how much better my brain would feel! I did it after I got diagnosed with arthritis. To reduce inflammation (which underlies arthritis), I quit sweeteners/grains, and I am nearly pain-free! But my brain works better too - AMAZING! Thank you for your wonderful videos. I went to the doc yesterday and explained I don't need the anti-inflammation pills anymore and that I fixed the situation through diet alone and suggested she tell people they can help their own issues with diet. Her response? A blank face and she said "I'm not a dietician". The medical establishment is NOT YOUR FRIEND! Change your diet, change your life. Thanks, Dr. Ekberg!

@@pat4005 Please cite sources for the things you are saying. Only 7% of the carbs in oats are the fast-absorbed ones and oats also provide some protein and good fiber. Regular oats have some amount of resistant starch and soaked oats have even more. You can mix the oats with other healthy ingredients as well, such as blueberry/ strawberry/ whey protein powder etc for healthy snacks.

For me, caffeine really throws me off. If I have to much, it spikes my adrenaline. If I have withdrawals from caffeine I get groggy. It can destroy my sleep. One consistent dose every day, early in the morning seems ok. With I get groggy sometimes I have a false belief that a cup of coffee will jolt me out of it, but it never does.

@@eileenhernandez7205 Oh, gee, what a challenge. 1) Because that's what the click-bait said. 2) Because while saying "don't eat arsenic" is equal to saying "don't eat arsenic," it's not the same as saying "eating EFAs helps you." So essentially, this is a VERY limited list of don't without any do posing as a list of do. And, 3) what if I'm already not doing any of these don'ts & still have brain fog? Which *is* the case. There's no suggestion here of what to look at to figure out the issue. This was a huge nothing-burger.

@@choosecarefully408 To be fair he opened up with saying we are photosensitive to cold lasers and have EM meridians on our skin... I mean... that told me all I needed to know right there! The answer is out there somewhere... but it ain't with this guy. I mean honestly, brain fog is simple. If you are low on neurotransmitters, then the thinking don't work too good, and everything is more difficult. For those of us with ADHD our issue is that we are too efficient at processing and absorbing neurotransmitters (yay! we are good at something!), so we deplete easily. We live our lives as stimulus junkies with extreme mental acuity in extreme situations, and then the fog rolls in on the day-to-day. We can take stimulants, which help slow down how quickly we absorb our precocious neurotransmitters... but that comes with its own issues and can put us all over the map. Normal people just have it so easy. Want to get rid of brain fog? Eat high protein and fiber, cut out the carbs and sugars, have the occasional cup of coffee, and go for a jog or a brisk walk. Nothing to it! Meanwhile, so many of us stick to ridged routines and diets, and supplement with drugs for a chance at 'normal' that is often denied. But if we don't stick to our routines religiously, then we don't get a chance. Its frustrating sometimes.

Hello Dr. I wanted to share with you that I've been listening to your videos for 7 weeks, almost daily I finds a video or two to watch. Actually, they keep me on track 👣 toward my weight loss goal. So far I have ditched overt and covert sugar. I have also let go of all coffee because of the creamer I need to drink it. And, pasta and 90% of grain I've removed from my diet. I now primarily eat some fruits meats and vegetables. I'm feeling better everyday. I can't do keto tho, carbs are too low and left me feeling depressed and unmotivated. Since I've added fruits and potatoes back I'm doing alot better and still am losing weight. Praise God!!! Creator of all things good for our bodies.

I started experiencing brain fog and other nonspecific problems, like poor sleeping and muscle/joint pains in my 40's. Luckily I had a good doctor that ran a series of tests instead of telling me it was all in my head. Turns out I have hemochromatosis and my iron levels were in the 900s. As my iron levels came down, the brain fog and muscle/joint pains disappeared. My sleeping also improved but its still not great unfortunately.

I have brain fog some days I can’t hardly function…I have diabetes type 2, hypothyroidism, obesity, depression, poor sleep, pain due to arthritis, GI issues with leaky gut, elevated CRP and anxiety.. My depression started after I had my tonsils removed at the age of 12. I had a Central Nervous System reaction to the anesthesia… I remember feeling wild and not being able to stay still at all.. Mentally I have not been the same.. Have had a tremendous amount of stress in my life.. I really feel God lead me to your video…I used to listen to you daily and was putting your guidance into action.. After my last joint replacement I have had worst than ever brain fog.. Since the surgery in August to remove a breast cancer tumor the brain fog and memory has been worst than ever… I thought today earlier I just didn’t know what was going to happen.. Then I saw later today your video… God answered my prayer..

I had been exhausted my entire 20s, then my liver enzymes started to go up and I decided I had to lose weight and started dirty-keto/IF/light-cardio. After losing good amount of weight I realized I have so much more energy, turns out fatty liver, very common, causes low energy. It's one of its main symptoms. I told doctors after doctors how I have no energy and they never ever mentioned it could be due to fatty liver.
