I have tried to play it for a whole year and when the notes got only a bit high I couldn’t reach them with my lips which is very disturbing if you like spanish matador bull fight songs. I have blown the lungs out of my body. I don’t know why I failed but after a year I had enough of it. My lips hurted and the taste of iron after each time playing wasn’t motivating either. Perhaps on another time in my life I will try again. But I am glad some of us have good experiences with the intrument.

@Arthur It could be certain face muscle that you lack? I couldn't play the trumpet and my face hurt, but I was able to play the trombone because of the larger mouthpiece

@@Arthur-gs2jr I think I have been practicing trumpet for half and a year. High notes are an extremely high level of capability. Compared to figure skating something like jumps with spinning in the air. We shall talk about how it helped me a lot to approach the trumpet. Do you have some option of videophoning. I would be a great pleasure to me to help you with approaching your trumpet.

I started to play trumpet in 2013, so that was also 10 years ago. But the first time I uploaded a trumpet video on KZfaq was 2020 (not public anymore). I'm excited to experience the next stages of the KZfaq trumpet player, as shown in the video. Allthough I don't take it as serious. Still recording with my phone, but adding the backing track later with high quality.

Im a beginner trumpet player for middle school band, and I haven’t even been playing for a year but my skill is growing way faster than everyone else, they are playing low B to A and I’m playing low F# And high G maybe High A, but I’m struggling to get higher or play higher notes without some tension. Love your channel btw.
