So many salty people because their favourite rapper didn't get #1. Denzil worked his ass off this year and his improvements show. His delivery and bars can go toe to toe with anyone and in a huge cypher like this he made everyone know he was the best without a doubt. This was the best cypher of the year and he had the best verse of this cypher, how can you even say he isn't deserving of #1...

The reason I believe this verse is rated so high is because of his bars and delivery. Passionate looks like he's trying to hard while Porter appears natural.

I like Denzil, but I honestly don't get what everyone freaked out about this verse over. I wanted to love it. Went to rapgenius, tried to see if it was some huge deeper meaning I wasn't getting. Can somebody point out a bar or two that makes this stand out above Jeff Turner's, Illmac's, GQ's, Flawless's, Bigg K(my personal #1, maybe I'm biased because I love KOTD and URL), CyHi, everyone else? I'd really like to know what everybody's seeing, not trying to be a hater, obviously all y'all voted for it. He just seems out of breath in this one and for an awful lot of it I couldn't understand him. "Wisdom like the back of yo tooth" is our #1??
