Head description:
A reproduction of the Vitruvian Man, a world-renowned drawing created by Leonardo da Vinci around the year 1492, is encircled by the twelve stars of Europe. Italian Republic monogram above. Date and mint mark are at the sides of the Leonardo design.

Yes Gaurav, It is mintage mistake. But sometimes these defective coins are worth a lot. That is the aim of coin collectors to collect such coins. The values of which keep on increasing with time and are good investment for dead money.
