The intelligent mirelurks is interesting, but it seems like Bethesda is really against intelligent mutants in their games. Fallout 2 had talking deathclaws living in a vault, which was actually super interesting and Gorris is one of my favorite characters in the whole series.

Not only that, Fallout 1 would of had a barrow of talking raccoons thanks to FEV. One of the devs nixed that, and with Fallout 2's talking deathclaws, that was hated by Avellone.

Ironically, Chris Avelone and the original Fallout Devs hated the concept of intelligent deathclaws or other mutants, and in their headcanon they all got genocided. So if anything they are more likely to come back under Bethesda.

All of this cut content and more are reasons why a Fallout 3 remaster would be great and received quite well by the Fallout fanbase and likely bring in new fans as long as they restore and improve any unused or bugged quests, weapons/armour, items and dialogue

Lol, no. I say this as a former big fan of the third part, who completed the entire game, except for a few quests and the Mothership Zeta DLC. Almost every aspect of the game doesn't work as well as it should, except for the visual style. The worst aspects are the balance, plot and worldbuilding. Well, I don't think there's much to say here, in the third part there was a city of children and a city built around a bomb. Either way, New Vegas set the bar too high for Bethesda to overcome - at least not with its current game designer and writer.

A lot of those cut content pieces and dialogues were brought back in TTW mod for New Vegas (cryolator for instance). Haven't played Fallout 3 in a long time and replayed it with TTW and didnt even know that some of these were actually cut content. Great vid as always, keep it up!

I wish they would take it far with how grotesque the mutants could be. A 2 headed cow, 2 headed deer, and 2 headed ox seem a little lackng in creativity now. The centaurs were great, they could have done w variants of them and not remove them. The floaters would have been great too. I want to see more disgusting looking horrifying mutant abominations in the future.

Seeing a centaur that had two heads honestly would of been nice for Bethesda to keep. It's like the closest thing to the OG centaurs from Fallout 1 even though it's two human heads rather than a human head and a dog head.

The Garry and Outcasts Interrogation tape is literally the most messed up but Fallout thing that should've been in the game just to show how messed up or cruel the Outcast could be compared to the Brotherhood

I also see why they removed that quest to get Derek and that Machete together Derek being underage is a little weird and uncomfortable trying to get some underage teen and a lady together considering she was 19 and he was 15. His model made him look like he was a child and she was a full grown adult.

the model us army power armor can be found in the game still, its the prototype medic power armor and its found under Old Olney, it talks to you and gives you med x automatically should you have it in your inventory.

Replayed this game recently for the first time in ages, heavy modded of course. It's crazy just how much of this content wasn't part of the base game. I encountered a fair bit of it during my play-through and never even knew some of this was left on the cutting room floor.

For sure. 3 fumbled with some of its content. But it had some great concepts and ideas, it just had an awkward execution. FO3 played itself weirdly serious and somewhat flat at time. But strangely, FO4 was almost too zany and video gamey. Even though on paper they are polar opposites, I agree that they feel so slightly off and a few design discussions away from being perfect fallout games.

I always wondered why the more recent games (since 3) excluded ground vehicles. I mean, you drive around in Fallout 2, and the cars are nuclear powered (and the reactors are still good, since they blow all to hell when you shoot them). There are plenty of mechanically inclined folks around. Someone HAS to have made some of them functional. Yeah, the roads are non existent, but kludging some giant tires on one would make it an off roader, and I can imagine a giant ass car/truck hybrid smashing straight into a deathclaw would be quite humorous.

Wait. The guy from Vault 87 was a pure human with no rad damage, so he should have turned into a smart super mutant. In Fallout 1 its explained that humans that get turned into super mutants that have rad damage become dum while pure humans from vaults become smart super mjtants like the super mutant LT in Fallout 1

The cut power armor looks like it was used in Broken Steel as the healing armor you find under Osley. And the snowman hat looks like the snowman you find in Operation Anchorage you find its head in the ground.

Going to put this here before i finish the video. If its in here ill edit it. You forgot a cut weapon , a assault rifle but the name of Wanda . Got in the mission with the Brotherhood of Steel assulting defending the GNR building. You should have looted it from the Brotherhood of Steel soldier that now gives you a FatMan nuke launcher. I swear the first time I played fallout 3 on my cousins PlayStation I remember deputy weld having a sheriffs badge but him saying it was cut makes me think that we were playing on a broke ass copy of the game because it was extremely buggy and we seen weird scenarios like the badge that we can't seem to find anymore

I can understand not having variants of centaurs and leaving wanamingos out but floaters would have been awesome. I feel like fallout 3 is missing enemy variety. The cigarette bomb is totally a viable thing BTW. It's been used by some "enterprising people" to take out each others "businesses"

Why would Beth come at the Player and instantly assume, the Child they carry is orphaned? I smell a Conspiracy. I can see why they cut the Mason Jar Mine. A Cigarette would take forever to burn down on its own. The Security Guard was a Prime Normal. He should have turned into a Smart Mutant
