Legit story: We were watching Psycho for the first time with some friends and in the beginning, I stopped the movie to substitute the Universal theme with that version sung by a dude because that is the only acceptabme version. Problem is youtube was on autoplay, and for some reason this started playing right after. So, we watch the first 15' of psycho thinking these sounds are from the movie for some reason :D

The captivating allure of a video featuring intermittent "Pikmin" sounds can be attributed to a multifaceted blend of nostalgia, charm, and the power of auditory stimuli. "Pikmin," a beloved franchise created by Nintendo, has left an indelible mark on gaming culture with its endearing characters, whimsical environments, and a delightful soundtrack that perfectly complements the game's atmosphere. When these iconic sounds are strategically woven into a video, it creates a captivating tapestry that resonates with fans on a deeply emotional level. At the heart of this phenomenon is the potent force of nostalgia. For those familiar with the "Pikmin" series, the mere sound of Pikmin voices, the whistle of Captain Olimar, or the distinct noises associated with tasks in the game can instantly transport them back to the charming and immersive world of Pikmin. It acts as a time capsule, unlocking treasured memories and associations, eliciting a warm and comforting response that is both immediate and profound. Furthermore, the intermittent nature of these Pikmin sounds adds an extra layer of allure. The unpredictability of when the next sound will occur keeps viewers engaged and on the edge of their seats, creating a sense of joyful anticipation. Each chirp or whistle becomes a delightful surprise, a small moment of happiness that punctuates the viewing experience. This element of surprise not only heightens the entertainment value but also showcases the nuanced artistry in crafting an engaging and dynamic auditory experience. The simplicity of the concept is another factor contributing to its appeal. In a digital landscape often filled with elaborate and complex content, a video centered around Pikmin sounds serves as a reminder of the beauty found in simplicity. It highlights the profound impact that even the most seemingly minor elements, like a sound snippet from a beloved game, can have on our emotions and overall experience. In essence, the video transcends the boundaries of a mere compilation and transforms into a captivating auditory journey. It becomes an exploration of not just the Pikmin universe but also the emotional landscape of the viewer. By tapping into the collective affection for the Pikmin franchise, this video transforms into a shared experience, uniting fans in a celebration of the joyous and timeless elements that make Pikmin an enduring and cherished part of gaming history.

This is keeping me going while writing my essay. I try to write as much as I can before the next pikmin. My hands move, motivated by the terror of the inevitable crow of the pikmin. I look at my tabs, seeing the youtube logo, ever reminded of the presence of the pikmin, unable to escape my torment. I am like Tantalus, believing if I write just enough, the completion of my essay is within reach. However, that thought is cruelly yanked from me, as the pikmin chimes again. As I have written this comment, it has yet to remind me of my draft, 3 pages due tomorrow, printed. I almost yearn for its reminder of my purpose.

I feel not too many people know about this, but the flowers that bloom on the Pikmin are directly inspired by a real plant native to South Africa. Going by a few names, (primarily) chaenostoma cordatum, but also known as bacopa, bacopa cordata, sutera cordata, or sutera diffusus is one of 52 species in the genus Chaenostoma. The cute, inch-wide flower comes in white, magenta, and blue violet and is what directly inspired the coloration of the Pikmin flowers for the first three games. The *bacopa cabana*, or The Pikmin Flower, was bred into existence within a promotion for the first game's release all the way back in 2002! Sadly, the bacopa cabana strain of the flower is copyrighted, so you won't be finding seeds for it very easily, but I'm sure there are some still out there in circulation (probably for a hefty price). I was able to find seeds of bacopa cabana's parent strain by searching for *sutera cordata* on Amazon, incase anyone has a dying itch to grow their own little Pikmin like I do.

I am currently crying so hard right now. This is seriously the most beautiful, well put together story ever. I can’t believe how magical it was 1:12. That part truly made me shed a tear. And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any piece of bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. The work put in to this is incredibly inspiring. The graphics, the animation, the music, so much thought was put into it. This has remined me that you can do anything you put your mind to. Not even mentioning the memories, this makes me feel like an infant again, just laying my eyes on this beautiful masterpiece gives me all the good feelings in life. I also understand what happiness is again from this. Not even to mention the most incredible part that is 2:10. Bacon spinning has changed my life for the better. So much great graphic design, so much suspense, so much greatness in this one video. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. This was the most legendary performance by any bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42. I am crying. This has made me go through an emotional rollercoaster. I cried, beat off, and also watched a movie while watching this premiere. This has made me go through so much. I passed depression because of this. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you.

I cannot describe how helpfull this video was for me, Im currently working as an manga assitant in japan and doing my work via the internet, this leaves me an eternity of time spend working on these manga pages, and until 2 weeks ago I had been endlesly having the cycle of wake up work eat go to sleep, I worked for over 12 hours and the rest is spend doing my needs, and in these 12 hours I just felt lonely, I have nothing to do other then just do my work, and music does not cut it out anymore. 2 weeks ago I found this masterpiece of video, at first I thought that this would be just a silly video, but its the quite oposite actually, working while having thes video on loop gives me courage, just waiting for the occasional chirp from pickmin makes me work harder and happier, just guessing when the next chirp comes in makes me work faster and I actually enjoy doing my work, its like an reward for me to hear that friendly chirp. not only that but I also feel like pickmin ocasionally checks in on me to see how my work goes on, this gives me the feeling of competition as if pickim would sit right next to me finishing the next manga page, I dont know who is faster, but I can tell you that my goal is to be faster the pickming, giving my best on every page drawing perfect lines and being better. This video is a gift send from Udont_know_mee to us, and many people just see this as a silly video but its not, its way more then a silly video, its a friend checking in if everything goes well, its a friend competing with you to see whos better thank you.

I can't believe how mesmerizing it was at 3:45. That moment truly brought tears to my eyes. And at 8:23, it was so moving that words cannot describe the intensity of the emotions I felt. The attention to detail in the climax was remarkable. And let's not forget the conclusion, which was the most heart-wrenching and powerful I have ever seen, surpassing any literature I have read. Thank you for creating this masterpiece that transcends all traditional forms of storytelling or filmmaking.
