Title correction ; 1 in 2 millions, here's why(I Google it) : An estimated 1 in 2 million lobsters are blue. A genetic mutation causes a blue lobster to produce an excessive amount of a particular protein. The protein and a red carotenoid molecule known as astaxanthin combine to form a blue complex known as crustacyanin, giving the lobster its blue color. If it's a Crayfish : "If you have a blue crayfish, they will sometimes molt out of the color and revert to a common color. Leave the old blue exoskeleton in the tank and if they eat it, the blue can come back. The blue is not genetic but is caused by a harmless virus that gives its blue color to the crayfish." I once found a rare blue crayfish inside of a a storm ditch/drain and I didn’t think nothing much of it . Till years later I realized it was 1 in 2 million. I let him go but I was amazed at the shiny that I found. I never release shinies but I didn’t know how rare that crayfish was :,(

i own 5 blues 2 white 1 thunderbolt (purple blue pink one of the most rare) and an emerald green (rare) blues whites are most common with reds multi color like brick or thunder are only found in like one river or something and must be captive bred ect

Its a Cobalt Lobster. And they arent rare. They are crayfish that are farmed by the millions and sold through fish shops. There isnt anything rare about this crayfish other than its in a stormdrain. It was either dumped into the area stormdrains or is the offspring of a pair that was.
