We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them. We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

That part about the people with us but went apart meaning that they never really belonged to us really makes sense about how people twist our relationship with Christ and bring on their own religions

The Word is growing .. God is spreading . His messages are so ever relevant in today's world. We now SEE the sin. As children the lines were blurred. Praise God. Fill me up Lord. Light my Path.

“Now we ask you, brothers, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, that you not be quickly shaken in your mind or be alarmed whether by a spirit or a word or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. The phones we listen on have become idols

I agree brother that sometimes phones and TV can be idols because they take away time from God. But In the case of using them to listen to the word of the Lord it's like reading the Bible. God has a pure purpose for all things that are created, man is the one who abuses creation, no different then how adam and eve abused the first creation. So in a sense it's not what it is that's the problem it's how you use it. And all things work together for the good of those that believe

@TheGrayFox1234infinite true, I saw it in spirit. one can be chained through the phone. I also saw that the book would warn about it. thank you Lord Jesus.
