1 Kings 17:1-8 (ESV)
Elijah Predicts a Drought
1 Now Elijah the Tishbite, of Tishbe[a] in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word.” 2 And the word of the Lord came to him: 3 “Depart from here and turn eastward and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. 4 You shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” 5 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord. He went and lived by the brook Cherith that is east of the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. 7 And after a while the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.

I’m from Canada brother Daniel, Calgary and I’m so thankful for the precise emphasis on the details and on obedience as paramount. It’s even affected my witness to MIKI A YOUNG MAN who moved from Barcelona to Victoria, and after thinking it would turn out a Canadian adventure, it turned out after 20 days to be a disaster. Please pray for MIKI THAT HE WILL DISCOVER GODS PROVIDENCE IN HIS LIFE. I LIKED last weeks emphasis on Self Control and was truly encouraged by it…. Thankyou…

Pastor Daniel, greetings, thank you. What a blessing. I was thinking about what you said about how when the brook dried up, it was not a sign of disobedience. Many times in my life, things have ended and I always question if I have done something wrong. I remember when I was suddenly let go from my job. It seemed to come out of nowhere. I was devastated and confused feeling like i had disobeyed God in some way, but God knew I would have not quit. It was 6 months later that He would open up another door for me. He had a greater yes, a greater plan for me. God has taken such good care of me. Thank you for the Bible study. Have a blessed day 🙏

So many revelations through this series! 😭 I had to pause and testify to the women who have witnessed my past two years. I was called to the literal wilderness, and stripped of more than I ever thought, but grew as a student of God.... just to keep it simple. Point here - ty!! ❤😭

Brother Daniel, I pray for God’s continued hand of grace and mercy on you as you study and prepare for each lesson. Watching but mostly listening to the study on KZfaq has given me a greater appreciation and understanding of Gods word. I read and reread the chapters each day in preparation to hear from what God has shared with you. It has helped me to slow down and not rush reading His word. I pray that Maranatha continues to be a light on Friday nights for the hungry souls of who I am one. I ask Gods blessings on all of what God is doing in and through you and all those who labor with you at Maranatha Bible Church. To our Mighty God be all of the glory

I want to say that as I have listened to you, I have over the last weeks cut off all the you-🤣tube videos, even if they appear attractive or mind appealing. I’ve gained in purity🥲, I’ve gained in communicating with God, I’ve learned to get on my knees for others, I’ve learned not to go to churches which panders to the people, and not primarily to God. I’ve gained in knowledge of the word of God and I’ve gained in learning solitude with Him. Jesus has become more and more real 🥹and he is my friend. I’ve also had. A genuine concern for soils…Thankyou…
