Diesel has doubled in price. Assuming you pass that cost on to the customer, your prices would have to increase, therefore increasing your gross, while your net would stay flat

What you left off was , fuel cost for that month, payroll for that month, truck lease payments, trailer payments, maintenance for both truck and trailers, payroll, taxes, insurance for the equipment, health for you and your driver's, the earnings seem good but what was your profit for the business in the end and is it something you recommend!!!

I can appreciate the Gross numbers however it means nothing if your net is low. I can gross $100mill and net $5. With fuel prices being so high I can guess the net is low.

I know that you got out of the business, but I want to ask you a question. How much were you able to net out of the business when you made the million dollar year? If you stepped out of the business hopefully you can shed light on the millionaire msg from an honest perspective so people can see the reality of the bank account and life benefits of the business and the amount of work that it takes to achieve it.Thank you.

You're on your way to mega fleet status! I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I found a semi I will be bidding on Saturday. And if that doesn't work out, the next truck up for bid is a F450 I know I can get. Either way, I'm looking at taking CDL loads soon!

@@vince5506 The bank couldn't find the title, so the semi was pulled from the auction. I did buy the F450 so I will be busy finishing my 7.3 rebuild project and converting the truck from the V10 gasser with a 5 speed to the 7.3 powerstroke with a ZF6 transmission. Planning on adding a 48 or maybe even a 60" sleeper to it as well.

What's the income per mile? If I take a load from Ft. Worth to Seattle the price per load is high but the price for mile is unually low.

100k a week that's a little under 4k a week with 27 trucks and when you factor in fuel at 5 to 7 dollars a gallon ummmmmm. He would have to let us know what type of miles these truck were running to see what the profit was like cause he also has to get his percentage as well. I'm pretty sure the fuel cost is at $1,000 and up so that might leave you in the gray area of ((2,500)) a week don't know what the profit split agreement is but I still see room for a decent style of living but the key is to save for two rainy days not one in this type of industry........ Keep In mind you have to put on your big boy/girl pants on cause breaking down is not fun new or old truck they all break down

Triple check _ALL_ of the welds, the axle alignment, be prepared to go ahead replace the bearings, brakes, and tires.
