Please understand that you’re not just educating people about medicine, you’re showing people what it means to be a good person. Your positive attitude, honesty, compassion, and sincerity shine through on every video. No matter what topic you were covering in your videos, people will naturally think “I want to be more like that person”. It’s like you’re modeling, but instead of clothing it’s about being a good human being. You are truly an inspiration.

@@monkeyx17 I feel the same, I've been dealing with Canadian healthcare for a long time and she reminds me of one of the many doctors I run into who pretends theres nothing wrong while I'm suffering immensely for years (edit: because of medical negligence and incompetence, not just the illness), it's insincere gaslighting and it completely disregards what we go through as patients

Your videos have helped me SO MUCH to apply the information and skills I am learning to real-life clinical scenarios & patient presentations, etc. The medical mystery videos and hospital vlogs are my favourites, as those are always the ones I seem to learn the most from!! I love your channel and am so happy to see you getting the success and recognition you deserve. Thank you for all that you do both online and as a doctor in the real world; I cannot thank you enough for helping people every day despite the many endless challenges faced in healthcare. How about interweaving violin practice, solo or duet, into day-in-the life video vlogs? The Organized Soprano inserts clips of her operatic rehearsals and practices into her vlogs and I love it (her main content is decluttering/organizing). Dont try to do whole concerts or a separate violin channel, just share snippets that showcase your talent and introduce us to specific composers and their works. Thanks❤

I my name is Ada Hockey. I’m 18 years old. I was at Summer Academy and we wer4 researching someone who works in the medical field because I chose a blind Psychiatrist, but I thought Psychiatrist was the only field I could go into as a visually impaired person who has 20/1000 vision. But the AT specialist/TVI or Teacher of the visually impaired research some other specialties that I could go into like, Family medicine, Internal Medicine, and some others, but that’s when I looked up your channel and showed her that you are an Internal medicine and Rheumatology specialist. I told her that kind of interests me as well because you make it sound like so much fun. I want to work in Peds though. I also called over a resident Asistant at camp and she said that your the reason that she wanted to become a doctor. I am so glad that you have this channel and that you are so inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work. Let’s go and keep spreading the word and inspiring the next jeneration to become medical professionals.

This is such a wholesome video. Congrats Siobhan and Mark on this amazing milestone, you guys absolutely deserve it! I've been watching for a few years now, and what drew me to this channel and continues to set you apart from other medical channels is your day in the life videos. There's something fascinating, as a non-medical professional, about seeing how a doctor moves through the day, while still getting a deeper insight into some medical conditions that I know less about and seeing the diagnostic process. I also loved the attempt at doing a week in the life, where we can really follow patients' trajectories throughout their care. Keep it up you guys! Here's to the next million subscribers!!🎉🎉

I'm a music teacher and often talk to my students about your violin/medical journey. Music is not a large part of the culture in the area I teach, and seeing people like you who are passionate about music, even though it's not their profession, is really impactful. I'd love a video specifically about how music impacted your journey as a medical provider and if you were willing to play in it, I'd likely use it as apart if my recruitment materials to get kids involved. You've already inspired many of my students and I'd love to expand the impact!😊🎶

Since 2 of my grandsons entered medical school, I have been obsessed with all things associated with becoming a doctor. Your You Tube videos (especially "a day in the life of...") are so far and above those of other medical you tubers. The way you share your patient experiences from patient complaint to outcome is, to me, what makes you stand out. Every medical student should be required to study your videos as part of their training. Beside all that, your physical beauty and personality are amazing.

Congratulations Siobhan! You earned this! I hardly ever post on videos but I felt like I had to for this. I’m a nurse in the US. I learn something from every video that you post. You should be proud of yourself for everything you have accomplished! You’re the kindest person and anyone would be lucky to have you as their doctor. Keep doing what you’re doing! ❤ We love you!

Congratulations and go IU! I started watching your videos as I was editing medical papers because it was great medical content from someone living close to where I grew up, and imagine my surprise when you ended up at Indiana, where I went to undergrad. Thanks for sharing your life with us!

Congratulations! I’ve been following since you were in your first year and always loved seeing the more human side of medical professionals. It’s so cool seeing a day in your lives and how it all works behind the scenes. Your kindness and compassion has been one of the things that helped me persist through years of drs not believing me about my symptoms. I’ve finally found the right medical team and now have a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis

Hi Siobhan! I’ve enjoyed your videos for several years now, and I loved this one. :) Congratulations on reaching 1M subscribers!!! You have been so fun to watch and learn from. I’m now studying Human Biology and Health Sciences with hopes of becoming a nurse someday. I personally really love when you share medical vlogs, mysteries and patient stories. But I also love the chatty videos too. :) all the best!

I live in New Zealand and I've been watching your videos for years. I have many favourites, but the two that stand out are your nightshift on call with Mark and also shadowing the ICU nurse. Congrats on your 1M subscribers! You deserve and have earned those and made a positive impact on this world. I'd love to see travel videos, especially hikes.

I’m in the middle of Covid part II, so a short congratulations for 1 million viewers! Voting for medical mysteries, day in the life of, and then a travel day each time you take a longer vacation. Do something that requires low to no editing that gives us an insight into where you’ve been or what’s influencing you. Great job.
