If the tanks had started firing from the beginning and had remembered they had ranged weapons, that would've made an enormous difference, too.

He did know early on.. I.e. he spotted it around the 20 something minute mark, but just didn't care to "un-derp" them for whatever reason. And then around the one hour mark, he started to do that totally ineffective, "force move" on one T-Rex at the time.. 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ Yeeaaah.. and this isn't exactly the first time he f*cks up either..

Its not like the other side were being efficiently utilized either though. There was an entire human ww2 division that was chewed on but basically stood inert the entire match. If they, and say the modern soldiers were allowed to go out to play at say the 3/4 mark, the match would have been over much quicker.

Given trexs hunted in family groups of 3 to 4 they could have found ways to flip and render a tank useless if it was caught unawares, but modern tanks wouldn't be as easy for them to flip and even if they managed to puncture any weak points with their teeth they would definitely probably break their jaw attempting to bite the barrel. Even the construction of ww2 tanks would not be the easiest thing, especially with the German constructed ones and with infantry divisions supporting them, and while I do believe the Trexs would try to at least show dominance a single well placed rocket launcher shell would permanently cripple one, possibly two of them if they were close enough, and tanks nowadays could easily match the speed on rough terrain though they would have much more trouble keeping track of 3 extremely cagey Rex's. Given this entire scenario is a fictional situation I still believe whole heartedly if all the lines had been tanks supported by artillery and infantry to back them up you would've needed twice the dinos. If there was a realistic modern army mod for this with all the toys available today just .50 cal sniper rifle squads mixed in with artillery units of mortar and the navy's rail gun and some lined further up with RPGs and m32's plus modern infantry behind a tank line theres no way the dinos would ever get close enough to us and their bodies would literally be ripped apart from just the sheer amount of firepower ripping through them lmao. Dinos are cool but in a straight up fight with numbers like this our modern toys would be way too much for them:)
