As for parkour, I loved Unity. Which one is yours ?

Tbh Ac Unity looks like a next gen game rather than Odyssey.

Unity had my favorite parkour of them all, it just felt so smooth and real. I loved the grappling hook in Syndicate though, that was a ton of fun.

AC 1 to ezio's trilogy: wise assasins doing parkour AC 3: An athletic assasin doing parkour AC Black flag and rogue: matured assasins doing parkour AC Unity: a parkour expert being an assasin AC Syndicate: Goofy Batman doing parkour And i don't know why he added some random game that doesn't have fall damage

Unity's parkour is so satisfying and the fact that they made connor's steps in ac3 lighter than the other assassins is a great detail as well

The fact that you didn't showcase the free running innovations added in AC3 and AC Unity is a damn crime.

Quick summary of each game's parkour: AC 1-Revelations = Good but all the same AC 3&4 = Better, but unpredictable AC Rouge = Awkward and Stiff AC Unity = Spiderman AC Syndicate = Spiderman with Batman's grappling hook gun AC Origins = Typical RPG AC Odyssey = Mad invincible ape stepping over literally everything

From unity beyond, the jumps started to be so wide and and unrealistic that it seems they are kind of flying. They should be normal humans not super-heros

Unity has the best parkour

I’ll always have a place in my heart for AC3, It was my first AC game, and I loved every minute of it.

I love how all the others are "Plan carefully where you run to be able to leap from rooftop to rooftop" and Odyssey is like "Just jump you'll stick the landing. Fall Damage is just a myth."

For me III was the peak in terms of good feeling animation and being able to use trees. I love the Ezio trilogy for it’s tools and for the maps, (black flag was pretty good too but the focus isn’t that big on parkour since there are boats). Starting from rogue they got super floaty, the animation lost its weight, and you could climb a huge building in a second which just takes the importance out from getting high up. In the first one you would be really careful not to fall because it wasn’t as impossibly quick to get to the rooftops. The devs don’t get that what makes parkour fun isn’t climbing a huge building super fast, it’s about the maneuverability of your character and your range of options for tackling problems.

Ac unity parkour hit different. Ac unity parkour is like that one blunt you needed after a long day of work. Ac unity parkour is like that day she says that you can smash. Ac unity parkour is like the first time watching hentai. Ac unity parkour is like that one time you pass a test without cheating. Ac unity parkour is like that very rare time where you get pulled over and they don't search your car for weed, but instead they give you a warning, because your tail light is out. I'm out.

The question that has plagued since I started my playthrough of syndicate was this, how did Jakob keep his top hat on this whole time?

Would be super cool if every part could end in jumping into hay, and another one starts with getting out of hay

It's sad that they made the world of Odyssey so beautiful, but with soulless NPCs and generic dialogues.

I love assassin's Creed 1 because it's playable in low end pc :)

I liked how the running pattern was changed in Assassin's creed III

I believe AC 3 and Blackflags parkour was the best. In these new ones, origins and odyssey, it lacked skill in climbing. For the most part you could just look in a direction, hold a button and run forward without any kind of problem traversing through the map. I liked how in the old games you had to pick your path and scale walls with delays.

AC1 was insanely ahead of its time.

Mechanics of AC2, the flow of Brotherhood, the hookblade and ziplining in revelations is so underrated. But adding in nature in AC3 is the best addition

The best thing is to have a parkour session in ac3 while holding down left trigger it looks so badass

Origins, Rogue and AC2 are my favorites in the series but in terms of parkour, Unity absolutely nailed it. It's just a shame they didn't give that same level of care to the story.

I like that Unity uses separate hands. I see in a lot of these that they treat the hands as one like a squirrel bouncing around. So i liked to see the use of kind of crawling up walls instead of just jumping the height of a house or something 😂

people hating on odyssey and such but there's really no need for parkour when there are barely any buildings around

My take with this Altair: pioneer, everything will be based off of him and/or innovated Ezio: felt like I had more control of his actions, learning complex parkour combos to climb faster and I liked the situational running ( free run, shove run, jog) Kenways: they pretty much had the same animations for me, I liked the auto shoving made doing others tasks while running easier ( although Ed felt "sweaty" with his outfits, it never sat right seeing a dude running around in full black pirate suits I stuck with his more open clothing) Shay: same concept as Kenways except he felt heavier, probably the templar armour, felt the same with Ed Arno: revolutionary, added a new type of situational running, but felt a but automatic, especially when getting down from a building. Took the fun out of finding a path Frye twins: I haven't played much( I skipped it, but got it recently) but it feels pretty fluid with Jacob Bayek: I don't like holding A/X and pointing Ls up but I did like he had damaged fall animations Oddesy: I said not playing after they just threw away the AC formula to copy of the witcher rpg. also no blade Hopefully Valhalla feels more like 3 and black flag, my favourites
