Right on, you made gaowus, traditional dried fish from west coast of Canada. Usually made with halibut, ling cod and salmon. I have done it a few times, salt to taste and sun dried in windy areas, salmon would be lightly smoked. We would pound before eating to break down fiber and eat with butter or eulachon oil, yum.

Suggestion, add a jar of GHEE (type of clarified butter) to your cooking supplies, the flavor is delicious & doesn't need to be refrigerated. Beautiful country & filming, thanks for sharing! 🥰

Love your videos! The thing you say about making your decisions by yourself, no one to cross reference your decisions with, that’s Spot On!!! I respect your wisdom in realizing that, and living accordingly! Stay safe and keep making your awesome journeys!

Absolutely loved the nose to tail rundown of the boat! So interesting to see what works and what you actually use and appreciate 👌👌 I don’t have a boat like this but would love to get something similar one day for messing about on trips like this with friends and family and the odd solo one like this, though maybe just a couple of days, cheers from UK 🥂

Why don't you run a fridge? A good battery and a solar panel on the roof should keep it running. Then the beers would be cold 🍻👍🏻. Keep up the good work.

3:01, I see what looks like a helicopter landing site. That area looks like it's been cleared, and then over grown. You can also see a straight line cutting through the reef tracing back to that area. Did someone try setting up a tourist hotel, or did someone have it as a private island and then gave up?

I know this because I do it! Ha? Need milk in my coffees! Ha! Stay safe bloke, ps, not watching the other party anymore! Keen for the north side of the highways ❤
