I just realized that these dudes have a 5-star player at every position Pg: 1 Cade Cunningham (#2 player in the county) Sg: 0 Dariq Whitehead (5-star Sophomore) & 13 Landon Love (5-star Junior) Sf: 11 Scottie Barnes (top 10 Senior in the county) Pf: 22 Caleb Houston (5-star Sophomore... top 5) C: 23 Day’Ron Sharpe (5-star senior) They all for together so well, and their games compliment each other’s. They’re also really good on defense..... this is easily one of the most complete HS teams in recent memory.

I’ve been following them since 2012 and I’ve seen all their talent. I guess when you have a great coach and D1 facilities not to mention great weather it’s hard to beat

Been saying since summer IMG has great team, but MVA got better especially picking up Barnes. They got bomb squad 9 nationally ranked players tough to compete let alone they got best two defender in country with cade and Barnes and if y’all wondering yes cade D up watched them live twice at hoophall classic in Springfield and the national semifinal vs IMG in person these kids defend on another level

Bro it's not even like Dematha pushovers like that either. They have two player going high-major ACC and I'm pretty sure the rest of the starters had D1 offers. Montverde is just THAT good. The only team that will probably be able to stay in a game with them is Prolific.

Montverde could beat some small D1 teams. Most college teams, even power 5 schools would be lucky to have more than 2 5stars on the court. I don’t think Montverde could beat any power 5 school because of age, strength, etc. but definitely could beat smaller D1 schools
