I still wonder how people could take all the knowledge in 1day or few days. In Srilanka we have minimum of 6 months to 8months course, for that they charge from 100k to 150k. In which they teach the brush techniques separately, and photogenic or stage make up, bridal make up, party makeup, casual make up, office wear make up eye liner types, mascara techniques, product knowledge, skin experimentation, how to choose the right product according to skin types, eyeshadow styles, lip styles, contouring methods according to face shapes The theory part includes the History of make up artistry And how to dress up minimum of 5 types of brides from different cultures we associate with In 3 hours class they give 1.5hours of theory and 1.5 hours of practical training. And in each batch they take upto 20 to 25 students only. And provide certificates at the end of the course period with a chance of professional work placement at the salons which are registered under international academy of hair and beauty which is approved by the government.

I'm a make-up artist and I did that course in Lakme Academy, Tnagar Chennai branch. I started this course during my lockdown and also 2 months irukum for advanced makeup artist course but due to lockdown we had classes for 8 months straight so daily i went to class for practicing makeup and trust me even in 2 months you can't become an expert in makeup, u need atleast 6-8 months of constant practice apo dha you'll become perfection in doing makeup. And I'm sooo thankful for lakme academy I was really satisfied with them and for each different looks we did two time practice. Everything was detailedly explained by the instructors. And also only 8 students in the batch so they'll take care of each and every student and guide them properly. And two batches will be there morning (8 students) and afternoon batch (8students). Don't choose any big a$$ makeup artist they'll scam you better go and learn from academy it'll be worth it. Thank me later!
