Ya, I can't even beat PC player on their second game, but I win 80% against console. I really don't see how console will be able to come even close in Ranked play. I predict there will have to be some handicap developed or the console player base will never solidify.

In lower leagues where people idle TCs automacro is very strong.

@@stysner4580 well if i could hotkey my units i would also be stronger, but for ex: if i put archers on group 1 only the active ones will stay there, that's why you probably gonna see some xbox players go all in when attacking or defending , only high lvl ones will be able to get way with surrounding.

@@cristianoforever My point was that perfect TC usage, especially after the midgame, is often seen in conqueror+, even they miss vills in hectic fights. Micro is very taxing as well, so in lower leagues where people can't micro that well and mess up their macro, having a bigger army and never missing a vill is far superior to anything else in the game. I'd think that from diamond onwards kb/mouse players really start dominating controller players.

Agreed. Auto vils is nothing compared to hot keys and the ability to click anyway on the map instantly. The x box players need to click two buttons and scroll to get across the mini map 😂

He did a whole bunch of challenges as part of his subathon a few months ago, mouse only was one of them.

@@Drew_H. My bad. I meant vs Xbox opponents. Beasty using only mouse vs Xbox folks. And the other one is beasty using controller himself vs Xbox folks. But since you mentioned beasty having videos of him using only mouse in normal PC opponents, I'm gonna look into those as well. So thanks for the suggestion :)

You can turn off cross play on Xbox….it doesn’t force you to play PC players. Thank god.

bro hes on a controller against one of the best players in the world. No matter how good u are, theres only so much you can do with a controller. If beasty was also on a controller, this guy would prolly smoke him.

and when you have to micromanage everything with a controller, scouting is something thats gonna fall by the wayside a little bit

@@seanbruceful I've been playing on series X for about 6 months and it's only crashed to dashboard maybe 3 times. You tried reinstalling and all that? Crashing for Xbox is definitely not common.

I play on series X too…over 150 ranked games played and I’ve never had a game crash or bug out. Not one. I agree with the other commenter, you have something else going on causing your issues.

i dunno about PC, but you can turn it off on the xbox version. I play with keyboard and mouse on xbox, but i turned it off anyway, for team games especially because gettibg absolute dog shit partners was already a problem before crossplay, so now i def dont wanna face some PC sweats with newbs AND a controller in their hands lol. But overall i agree, i would have kept the playerbases seperate for now, even the xbox player base was plenty healthy. I could understand doing it in the future as the playerbase starts to dwindle but yea, would be better off seperate now.

not really, controller is never better, its just the competition is lesser on xbox. I also play on xbox but use keyboard and mouse and the game is the most even in late games. Its true like beasty said, early game aggression is less common on xbox BUT i will say, its been increasing over the months and ive noticed ppl getting better in early game and overall. You gotta keep in mind that alot of xbox players are peoplr with zero prior RTS experience. For me, ive played alot of RTS in the past (mostly brood war) plus using keyboard and mouse, ive always been an early aggression type guy on xbox, but they are finally getting better at dealing with it. Several months back, i would demolish almost everyone i played with english longbow rush lol.

@@nunyabizwacks6711 The reason for less early aggression is micro though. Harassing vills and not losing everything or not getting baited into the TC takes a lot of micro that's relatively easy on kb/m, but very hard on controller. That makes it not worth it. Knight micro is not the hardest thing in the world but you have to be quick, quicker than you can be with a controller, same goes for longbow harass.

Why would you need a xim? You can just plug a mouse and keyboard in and play the game natively with it lol do you even know what you're talking about?
