Only 1 game he threw just 1 touchdown, 4 games with 2 touchdowns and 2 with only 3. No it won’t. Look at Cooper Kupp, he is inching away to break the receptions and yards record just because he has one more game left. TJ watt could break the sack record, because he also has 1 more game left. Jamar Chase just dominated Justin Jefferson’s record, Jefferson only started like 14 games and still broke the record. But Chase started from day 1, and now has 1 more game, to break more rookie records. Tom Brady is currently at 4,990 yards passing in 16 games, but due to the new extra game. He is bound to get 5,000+. Let’s be honest, with all these records being broken easily, you’ve to wonder how long this 55 touchdown passes record will hold. It’s sad to see.
@Tim_Marshall732 жыл бұрын
@@ChillHandle12 well. There have only been 2 season in which a qb has gotten 50 tds. And i find it unlikely for those 2 50 td season for them to get 5 let alone 6 tds in that extra game. I think a few will maybe approach 50 and maybe beat 50 but i still think 55 will stand awhile. Imo its the best single season record. Those rookie records, the recieving records, the rushing records, and even the passing yards record will prob go down within the near future but i still think 55 will stand awhile

Snipe0Rain yeah i know but it was also an old moss, imagine if brady had moss in his prime. Unstoppable. Manning had his recievers in his prime while brady mostly had veterans like welker and moss or late round talent like edelman
@gabe.91766 жыл бұрын
Marvin Harrison wasnt shit before Peyton came, he was only 2 yrs into the league and still adjusting. Manning was drafted in 1998 while Harrison was in 1996. Brady's only first round talents were moss and gronk, even gronk is injury prone asf. Without Brady, the Patriot's record are 51-65, absolutely terrible. Did you say Moss was in his prime? No Prime means the long stretch of time when a player does well, in reality his prime was with the vikings where he was arguable the most consistent receiver over a 6 yr span with one team. And Peyton got his ass carried to his 2nd superbowl while choking on the biggest stage against the seahawks. Brady had more to prove than Manning, even walked up to Kraft, Owner of the Patriots, and said that he's the best decision the org. has ever made. Manning had everything laid out to him, he played under center with a HoF caliber center, Jeff saturday. Im no Patriots fan infact i am a titans fan who hates the patriots specially in 2004 when we got knocked out of the division champ but you cant deny greatness specially comparing the numbers, doesnt matter how much you win, but where you win at ask the 2007 giants. Manning may be great in the regular season but does that matter if ur gonna choke in the playoffs? no it doesnt. Brady wins when it is most needed and thats what matters. End of story.

Nope. Marino lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 48 touchdowns. Peyton lost to the Patriots(Superbowl winners) when he broke the record with 49 touchdowns. Tom Brady lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 50 touchdowns. Peyton lost the Superbowl when he broke the record with 55 touchdowns. Now if we look back to before the Superbowl era, this has happened three times (at least since 1942). Sid Luckman won the NFL championship in 1943 when he broke the record with 28 touchdowns. Johnny Unitas won the NFL championship in 1959 when he broke the record with 32 touchdowns. George Blanda won the AFL championship in 1961 when he broke the record with 36 touchdowns. Had to look up some old data for this one.

denvers defense actually got trounced. It was a crazy game for the broncos offense because the crowd was so loud that peyton had to use hand signals in the second half. that usually never happens in superbowls where the crowds are neutral. Also seattle dominated the special teams. Denver never stood a chance. they had a 4th string center and many key O line injuries and peyton was under extreme duress the entire time.

Think about how many great QBs there have been in the 10 seasons since 2013, & how much more the rules have tilted to the offense. Yet w/ the exception of Mahomes in 2018; Manning’s single season TD pass record hasn’t come close to being challenged by anyone. Will Mahomes or some other QB probably break it one day? I’m sure they will. But it may not be as soon as some people think.
