#1 PLAYER DJ WAGNER INVADES CHICAGO! City's Top Team Kenwood Academy v Camden! Dai Dai Ames Goes Off

Kentucky commit DJ Wagner is the #1 ranked player in the Class of 2023 according to ESPN. Wagner and his Camden NJ HS team visited Chicago to face top ranked Kenwood Academy led by Kansas State signee Dai Dai Ames.
In front of a packed McGrath Arena on DePaul's campus, Chicago basketball fans got to see two top high school teams compete. In the end Wagner (26 points) and his Camden team won 68-54 after pulling away late. Ames led all scorers with 27 including 15 in the first quarter! Kentucky commit Aaron Bradshaw added six points, five rebounds.

Nah, there was barely any contact. Watch it in slow motion. He lost his balance because he got his ankles broke, then he tackled him to cover it up. Dude’s ego is so big, he couldn’t let that dude put him on a highlight. Pretty lame. Take your L, don’t hug the guy and lay on him.

@@dreski4899 It looked weak and insecure to me, not smart. In fact, I would say that crazy reaction made everything waaay worse and highlighted how off balance and beat he was. Everyone gets crossed up if you play for real; every great player in the NBA today has film of being crossed up, more or less. But you take the L like a man and try to get him the next time. That shows your toughness and maturity. What this kid showed is the exact opposite of that kind of grit and toughness. But ultimately it just showed that he IS just a kid and really immature. He would be wise to learn from this.

@@dreski4899 Nah. I see your point, though. But I don’t think the implications are quite that dramatic. And at full speed, a lot of people might assume there was physical contact made, possibly a foul? When you slow it down, it becomes obvious, but most people aren’t breaking things down the way we do. Ultimately, it’s kind of a funny reaction-I can’t say I’ve seen someone react like that.
