Coutinho £120m, flop, Joao Felix £115m, flop, Dembele £125m, flop, City offered £135m for Kane while he's 28. Rice is a midfield anchor, one of the best in the world and he's 23. Get it right and you stabilise your midfield for 5-10 years. It's not a bargain but £150m isn't too far off his value right now which is anywhere between £80m and £120m, you pay that premium because there will be other big teams vying for his signature so he can't go for cheap.

The thing is that jorginho probably isn't good enough in the system we want to play (he's not good enough playing against a high energy midfield), and kante is definitely getting older and kovacic can't play defensive midfield by himself, so he won't be able to back up gallagher properly when he returns. So we definitely need a new out and out defensive midfielder, and while I think tchouameni is the better choice (mainly due to his comparable ability and much lower price tag) declan rice would undoubtedly lock down chelseas midfield

Haaland however seems to be injury prone. I have been a Dortmund fan my whole life and I haven't seen a striker as complete as him this young in the club but he already missed one third of his possible matches. So yeah, Haaland is a guarantee for goals in my opinion but what happens if he is injured from December to March every season?

Haaland seems to work best off the last man in space which is how Lukaku and Werner played before coming to the prem. Man City make teams drop really deep and I can't see how Haaland uses his best attributes (pace, First time finishing and ability to ride off challenges) at Man City unless Pep completely changes their style of play

for leicester, remember we had 1 fit CB for a lot of the season. Amartey isnt a CB, Fofana had a broken leg and Evans was just broken. We have them back so we'll improve as the season comes to a close

Amartey IS a CB, (he plays there for Ghana, too) - he's just not good enough for a first team in the EPL, which is why he's our fourth pick we were having to rely on due to injuries to BOTH of our first-teamers, of which it's Evans that will probably need replacing in the summer, (but not for stoopid money...), in addition to YT.

I can't say stuff for most of the players mentioned but Bellingham will not leave Dortmund this summer. I'm sorry but it just doesn't happen unless a club is willing to pay 200 million. Haaland could go to ManCity but he prefers Real. Nkunku is an interesting case. It's his first good season but he is already 25 so we can't be sure he will continue to perform how he did this season. I also heard Leipzig wants to extend the contract and sweeten the deal by putting in a release clause for about 60 million Euros. So you could just wait and see if Nkunku can perform again and pick him up for a real bargain or if he doesn't you dodged a bullet.

Leicesters center halves have only been atrocious because fofana had his leg scissored and broken by Villarreal before season started and Johnny Evans was hurt a lot. Liverpool was also bad (for them) last year because of center back injuries. Keita is the better choice if I choose between a great midfield Tielemans replacement or a so so centerback to not start and simply provide depth. These boys are dim to think either player they put forward methinks.

Being a City fan, I think Haaland has to happen, of course the way we play currently, will change, as we have being playing a midfielder in a CF role, completely agree with the fact he won’t distribute the ball as well as the player we’ve been playing there, but Haaland, at Man City, is just far too exciting! Everyone has said we’ve missed a Striker at times, imagine having him to lead the line. Wow

Agreed. One thing about Pep is that he is extremely adaptive. You give him Haaland, he'll work with Haaland. Simple as that. He knew what to do with Messi as a False 9, he knew what to do with Lewandowski as the main striker, there's no doubt Pep will tweak his system to build around Haaland.

@Ogga Bob uhhh what? Lol Haaland is pretty much guaranteed to be the best striker in the world in a few years time, is definitely leaving, and will cost a mere 75 million. Kane is an aging star, his departure is not guaranteed, and he’s English so if he does end up leaving the price will be astronomical. Its no contest, the only reason they go for Kane is if Haaland decides to go somewhere else

Any team outside the Top 4 who needs a striker should be looking at Alfredo Morelos from Rangers. In Premier League terms he’s pocket change at around £20-25m, he’s combative (and has cleaned up his earlier discipline issues), holds the ball up well, creates chances, has years of European experience, he’s 6th all time top goal scorer in the Europa League and the experience of playing under pressure for a big club. It’s a no brainer.

As a west ham fan, GK is far from the number 1 priority. Especially if Rice goes. We'd basically have 1 CM and half a striker. We'll have to buy a goalkeeper as well at some point, sooner rather than later, but it isn't as important as those other positions.

Bellingham is the perfect signing for Liverpool, Klopp can make him an unreal player, who knows how much longer Klopp will be at Liverpool, might as well make the most of him and build up the next crop of players to carry Liverpool after Klopp, especially in midfield where Hendo is getting older, Jude can learn a lot from Hendo, Thiago and especially Klopp! It just makes sense
