High quality informative video, thanks. Also how high do you let your motor temp get? FYI, I found out from David Cleavland himself Hentach recommends not exceeding 230 degrees Fahrenheit motor temperature. To turn on motor temp, on the display set C8 to 1.

I was going to get an ecells cruiser. Then wired came out with a cruiser with dual batteries for 2104$ after tax for pick up. E-cells looks nice but I couldn't get myself to spend 2900$ for there dual cruiser.

Trust me, the build quality is worth a little bit of extra. The step star with the door battery comes out to the same price as the wired.Ecells did add the tariff now though

@Beardedebike 550$ or 800$ isn't a little extra that alot extra. Have you reviewed the new wired? They are faster and have better brakes and a thru axle. I don't see how it's better. They get their frame from the same supplier in china too. Can you explain what extra you get for that much more? Just saying quality is very vague.

No I haven’t yet. I’m still small and paying for my bikes. The ecells step star is only 2495.00 shipped when you use my code and that also includes the dual crown air adjustable fork and big headlight. The prowheel crankset is way better than the litepro one in my experience. Also the frames are not the same they look similar but are a way better quality at ecells with extra supports where needed.

It shows $2795 with using your code for the step through dual battery at the check out. Where do you see $2495? That's what it says untill you check out and it adds the 300$ tarrif tax. I see it shows 441$ more for ecells if you have to pay 250$ for shipping. So pick up for me it's 691$ more for ecells. So I guess I'm asking is a reinforced frame and a crankset you like plus a big light and a big front fork all worth the extra $441 or $691.

You’re right the tariff is added now with the dual star option. Idk I would personally still go with the ecells just because of the frame but I’m also 265lbs atm.

Purchased a couple of days ago thank to your and other videos highlighting the 5-Star. It was very close between this and Wired Freedom, but the build quality seemed to be on the side of E-Cells from what I could find out. What did you use for your cable management? Seems like some sort of wrap in addition to the zip ties.

Not number one though. They can't even put a base plate on their bike leaving wires exposed.

Which wires are exposed?

@@Beardedebike , the wires and cables that go through the frame at the base beneath the pedals. Around a 4x5 inch hole instead of a base plate like other bikes have.
