One piece actually doesn't have a ton of filler at least compared to other long anime like less then 10% of it has filler & it's pretty good filler to

another person commented on here a few days ago saying there was tons of filler! Guess ill just have to find out myself!

@@GKunReacts There's a few reasons people say it has a lot of filler. Firstly, when it was first dubbed in English the company that did so, 4kids, cut out whole arcs and people who watched back then consider them to be filler even thought they're actually pretty important. There's also those who consider anything not explicitly in the manga to be filler, even if it's stuff that expands on panels in the manga or information the manga gave us. There's also some flashbacks that happen a few times that people count as filler (it's really more of a pacing issue and a lot of people counting pacing 'problems' as filler) but it's really only egregious in one arc but it does slow down that arc a bit, to be fair. It definitely helps with emotional impact, though, and adding weight to some scenes. When you're binging it's not a big issue. On top of that, there's a lot of recap (which is easily skippable) which people count as filler too. That aside, there ARE filler, of course, but most of it is pretty decent, especially in contrast to filler from other long running shonen anime. A lot of it is just a way to spend more time with our beloved crew in wholesome mini-adventures.

@@GKunReactsit has 40percent filler. But not seperate episodes. More like they add unnnecessary scenes and drag out scenes and add 10 times the same flashbacks and recaps in. Actual episode is only like 7min long

It's pretty cool to watch you vibe with the openings. Something that I missed while watching was connecting the story to those musics because I just went tru it. I would recommend to always watch it to have that craved into the moments. If you already have fun with some of theses scenes you will probably like it a lot. To be able to enjoy these moment is a huge thing, have a lot of fun!

there is what some would say filler arcs, but they can link to the full story, there is really only like 90 some filler episodes of 1000

There really aren't that many fillers in One Piece. If you compare it to other long running series its the best. 100 filler episodes out of 1000, one filler arc out of them is adored by fans, vs series like Naruto and Bleach where they have 200+ fillers and are half the overall length of One Piece. Love those series' as well but fillers are not an issue in One Piece comparatively

Although one piece doesn’t have a lot of filler episodes, it’s pacing (especially in the later half) is questionable at best lol. Probably like 12-15 minutes of canon content an episode, which allows them to remain a nearly weekly anime and minimize filler

@@GKunReacts alright so please don't believe them 😂 probably just some kind of haters. The only thing that can be annoying is the slow pacing sometimes...that's also why it hasn't that much fillers. Just give it a try. There's even a page which has removed all fillers and repetitions which is called onepace. You can save a lot of time by looking the episodes there and you still don't miss on anything!
