This 35th Game of the Season for South Carolina Features the 2023 National "Sixth Woman of the Year" and 2024 SEC Defensives Player of the Year Kamilla Cardoso, Along with a Very Talented, Highly Touted Roster of Young Players for the Gamecocks, Who Will Face an Indiana Squad Led by Mackenzie Holmes and Sara Scalia.
The Gamecocks Have Been Very Impressive this Season, with Seven of Their 34 Wins Coming Against AP Top 25 Teams (6 Over the Top 15), Scoring Over 100 Points in Two of the Four Top 15 Games.

This Indiana team, with zero stars, came closer to defeating SC during this NCAA tournament, than any other team. Bravo! SC had horses and Indiana had fillies with massive hearts. Indiana outscored SC in both the 3rd and 4th quarters. I don't think that happened any other time this season with SC. Indiana got the game down to 2 in the 4th quarter after having been down 22 during the 3rd quarter. SC barely survived a massive basketball jump scare, and later took home the trophy. Kudos to the Indiana players and coaches for giving everything they had, and kudos to SC for surviving the onslaught in the 2nd half.

I agree but it's a difficult sell with the refs, who have been struggling to make right or fair calls all game on both sides.
