Hit 27k on the elden beast with ADLS with just golden vow and lightning shrouded cracked tear back in 2022. Still hitting the same amount if not more today, lightning incants are absolutely insane

What are the stats for the ancient dragon lightning build?

@@ABagOfRadiation golden order seal+10 max faith and int will put incantation scaling a good bit above 400, those are the only two stats that this seal scales w and that's the one I use for my incantations on this char. Ik there's one to enhance ancient dragon cult incantations but after fucking around w it I think golden order seal is the way to go. Other than that I don't even have buffs beside golden vow and lightning shrouded cracked tear. Wear heavy armour so your poise let's you tank a hit or two while fully charging ancient dragon's lightning strike and you're pretty much an unstoppable AoE force

and dozen of hours of planning, collective mind with twitch, bunch of attempts every time, tools to plan... What he did is harder than just finishing the DLC, it is what makes this video cool, the amount of work done.

@@NizzyLDright so if you just got a basic strong build (which is much easier then all of this) and just fought the bosses it would probably take way less time overall and be easier as a result. If it takes longer it usually means it was harder.

@@moussesucreeYou can just go 50% of the way; everyone knows to optimize talisman, optimize weapon and which OP spells to use, that’ll 2 shot everything basically, which is far easier than what he did, but also far easier than a regular playthrough. Nonetheless, a regular first playthrough is about 25-35 hours, I’m sure this took less than that

It was cool, but I respectfully disagree. The whole buffing sequence is pretty wild. Plus, torrent mount is used pretty frequently in fire giant.

Additional problem: to get that buff you need to beat Bayle first. And Ancient Lightning Strike is only needed against Bayle, as we saw. So once you have that buff, there's really nobody to use it on.

Did you use any incantations or other buffs?

@Pitchfallis I used golden vow, erdtree blessing and flame grant me strength. Those are the only buffs I use aside from the crystal tears.

@@Batman_83 Would Flame do anything for you beside the stam regen? Since perfume is neither fire nor physical, seems like Howl would be the better Body buff since you're going for a glass cannon build anyway.

@jarlhenrik Yes howl is better for it. I learned that after I had switched builds. I know the build I had was not optimized. I believe there's better buffs than golden vow but I'm not very good at figuring all that out very easily.

The fix just made the particles vanish when hitting terrain, but they still go trough enemies so a big enough enemy will get hit by all the puffs anyway.

Easiest major boss in the DLC, imo.

He does not have that much health

Not worth the risk. He's using the Royal remains armor so that the blood sucking cracked tear doesn't kill him first. Death armor 8% vs Crystal tears 20%

@@LordRazer3 but he didn’t use the royal remains set for Midra, instead using the Alerich set for the extra damage, so just do the same, in fact, its easier since Bayle doesn’t have the weird pre-phase that midra had, so thats more time until the damage kills him

@@skeletonwar4445 There also vary predictable bosses in the start Balye is not and when your on a timer consistency is key. He's already playing with RNG because of how the lightning works so adding on having to do it in 10 seconds is again to risky. If it makes you feel better I'm positive he would haven ended up using the armor if he couldn't get the kill in a dozen try's. Think of it there's a reason he didn't just come out of the gate using the blood sucking cracked tear because it was unnecessary overkill

Also i dont think the effect procs until they are perma dead. So using a weaker summon that doesn't get back up would be more efficient.

well to be fair the dlc fragments do provide like a 2x buff over normal numbers so that should help a significant amount.

for some reason crystal darts cause malfunctions in certain enemies

You can only get the heart after bayle, but the death knight set could have helped him

Blue Dancer only buffs physical damage not spell damage.
