How do you think this is correct? Since the mult got so high, each single chip provided by wee joker was a larger score increase than trying to increase mult. It’s not even hard math. Look at this 800x1000000= 8000000 3800x1000000= 3.8b 800x3000000= only 2.4b Small brain KZfaq commenters

@@kazboven9744not really, a hanging chad (which is not very good) also gives a x3 because you get another x1.5x2=x3, and at that point in the game perkeo was keeping endless possible by converting to red seal. It was a waiting game for observatory+blueprint to go nutty mode

that chatter was not on drugs. selling all jokers to duplicate hack would have made score insanely huge because you can get double trigger on every single hand instead of only the last one (w one copy of hack + a dusk).

To many people see "Chips is number, mult make number bigger fast." When they should see Red and Blue as two numbers Multiplied Together. You want to raise whichever is Lowest, to get the best results. That's why Wee is good in this setup. Though blue was being increased heavily by the level of Flush 5.

It is important, and the balancing in the plasma deck shows it, but by this stage, it isn't making enough of a difference. By the end, the base chips of flush 5 are ~1100, and Wee Joker is adding ~2700. So that's a x4 to chips. In contrast, dropping Wee Joker for Dusk, or later dropping all the jokers to duplicate Hack, gives x243 to to mult from the extra retrigger. 1000 x 4 chips x 1billion mult = 4 trillion score. But 1000 chips x 1 billion *x243* mult = 243 trillion. It's not close. Dropping basically anything and everything to focus on retriggering the hand is *far* more effective than the effects of any single +chips or xmult joker. Even the jokers that scale up like constellation, vampire, etc, all pale in comparison to the x243 of retriggering a hand of glass polychrome cards.

The worst 2 jokers at the dusk spot was definitely wee joker and than constellation. Flush 5 was already at 1k+ chips, so just like what one of the chatter said, wee (+~2k chips at the point) was a x3 only. If blueprint and brainstorm showed up, DNA would be great to add more steel cards in hand and maybe transform the run into a high card run. sucks that neither of them showed.

Wee was probably the most crucial joker at that point. The mult was already insane, so what Frost needed was more chips, and wee was what was giving more chips. Wee was the only chip scaling and mult was already crazy.

What you said is true only for the early part of the run. Look at the numbers, not the synergy. What he needed was more retriggers, since each retrigger would be x(1.5x2)^5 = x243. Wee doesn't matter that much here anymore. for example: 3k x 1 million = 1k x 3 million In this example, a new retrigger replacing wee makes 3k x 1 million into 1k x 1 million x 243.

@@lancemartin5207 And he was incorrect. A X3 to chips is not better than a x243 to mult. 1000 x ~3 chips x 1billion mult = 3 billion. 1000 chips x 1billion x 243 mult = 243billion. It's not close. Dropping Wee Joker, and later dropping everything to duplicate Hack, were the correct decisions. I'm gonna steal the run's seed to see if I get further than Frost, and I'm pretty sure I will.

It's a classic comparison of linear growth and geometric growth. Linear growth is faster earlier proportionally, and then it slow down. Geometric growth is slower to start, but it keeps ramping up. 1.0001^x is going to out grow 1 trillion x eventually. Wee joker's +2k chip was outgrown by x1.5x2 of the glass polychrome.

Frost didn't need to skip a round to keep Death in hand. He could have used the Death, then used the negative Fool to turn into a Death, then start cloning that Death.

59:50 Yes, dropping everything and Duping Hack actually *would* be better than literally everything else there. Retriggering the hand an extra time gets him x243 mult. Perkeo close to redundancy already, Wee Joker isn't doing nearly as much as people think it is and constellation is a measly x10. Dusk also adds x243, but only on the final hand. Finding ways to duplicate your retriggers should be the main goal. Duping hack would easily be correct, figure out whatever other jokers you can get later.

i still dont know if dusk also makes red seal proc again, if it doesnt its a 243 multiplier, but if it does then its a 59049 mult. regardless its miles better than the relative 3x increase from wee, which barely scales. even if it scales 500 per round it still needs 16 rounds to catch up to constellation and thats assuming you arent levelling up flush five anymore, which makes the relative increase lower and constellation mult higher.

red seal doesn't get retriggered. if a card with red seal gets retriggered then in total the card is counted 3 times. base trigger, red trigger, other retrigger.

You can watch it happen when he uses a single card for DNA. Hack makes it retrigger but it doesn't retrigger red seal, the card only triggers 3 times, not 4. All the Joker retriggers work the same, so Dusk would do the same.

This run was insane... genuine question, since he knew that he had enough to 1 hand most of the rounds, would it be more efficient to play some pair/3 of a kind hands to not one shot things to stack the small joker more, or to just one shot the rounds later on for more money, higher chance of finding better jokers?

In the endgame, wee joker had effectively became a x3 mult joker. Pretty much useless. A hanging chad on a poly + red seal would be x9 mult easily. (It might actually even be x81 mult)

That guy who said duplicate hack wasn’t totally wrong. The other cards were x30, total, any retrigger card from shop beats that, and 3 slots for x30 total is not that great considering the 2 retrigger slots you had were x59,000… Another retrigger is x243. Of course those are super rare. Your shop was a bit gummed up by tarot, planet, and playing cards. Thats why you werent seeing many jokers.

Duplicate Hack was the right play entirely. A single extra retrigger destroys the cumulative efforts of wee Joker *and* constellation put together (a roughly x3 and x10 for ~x30, while an extra trigger is x243). Selling all the jokers to dupe it, and then just finding other jokers, would have gotten the highest score.

Can you explain it to me then? Im genuinely asking if Im missing something because it goes from 1280 x 1.324e13 to 4640x1.324e13. 4640/1280 is about 3.62. So its an increase by x3.62 mult so not that impressive. Although if flush five wasnt insanely scaled it would have been alot better

@@Dr.DinkleYou're not missing anything, that's correct. Wee Joker is really good through ante 9 or 10, but once the required scores start scaling by 100x or 1000x per ante, a 4x multiplier doesn't keep up

its around a 3x multiplier, retriggering a single glass + polychrome card once does that. thats why dusk is miles better than wee. the scaling is bad because frost is also levelling up the flush five, which makes constellation scale and the relative increase lower

Plausible but he didn't get that voucher I don't think so it wouldn't happen. DNA was the better option because it actually produced cards rather than just converting them. And when you're working with glass, that's important. But the real drop should've been Wee Joker. Boosting chips is important early game, but with such a high leveled Flush five, Wee Joker was only increasing chips by a factor of 3-4. Dusk increased mult by *x243*. Which is better? 4000 chips x 1billion mult, or 1000 chips x 243billion mult?

Frost is a MUCH better player at this game then me but there are some moves that I just don't understand. I know this is backseaterry but I just need to know why. He is saying every round I'm doing this for the money or I don't wanna break the glass jokers Why not to scale wee joker faster and make more money drop pair gold stamp 2 hands its not going to get him the win and each gold stamp is worth 2 dollars more then ending the round with additional hands it would be SOOO much more money at the end.

Assuming you played 1 hand of 5 red sealed 2's every round, wee got 120 chips every round. To catch up to constellation's mult, it would need (1120*7.9)-2210=6638 more chips, which means it would take 6638/120≈56 rounds for wee to be better than constellation. Not only would you not have gone 56 more rounds, but the amount of rounds wee would need to catch up would increase whenever you leveled up flush five, whenever you buffed constellation, and if the 2's you played didn't all have red seals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- V 🤓

Also, absolutely *all* of that pales in comparison to retriggering the hand *once* (which is x243 mult with glass polychrome cards). So not only was dropping Wee Joker for Dusk the right call, but later, *dropping everything you have to duplicate Hack* is the right call. Build back with whatever other jokers, a single Hack is better than Wee and Constellation combined.
