In your opinion, do you think that, in general, the street foods in Malaysia are a bit more or less expensive than the street foods in Thailand?
@MickeyStotch

Everything is more expensive than in Thailand. Hotel rooms are almost twice more expensive than in Thailand, plus I’ve never seen that many “rooms with no window” anywhere else.

Yeah, it's true. No one will say anything if you eat in front of the people who are fasting... Many times my fasting friends asked me to eat but I'm the one uncomfortable to do so in front of them while they are still fasting. Sometimes I'd just fast along with them and buka puasa with them too. It's quite a community feeling when you do take part.

The corn curry is actually dhal curry 😅.. its made from lentils. Malaysian food is truly asia as we have been at the crossroad between East and West Asia since Mallacan empire. Various people from throughout the Malay Archipelago, Chinese, Indians, and even Sikhs, Arabs etc. settled down here. As a result our food is a mixture of Asian blend.

If Malaysian citizens born or resident more than 1 year in the states of Kedah, Kelantan, Perlis & Perak(Pengkalan Hulu,Grik & Lenggong) they can apply for Border Pass..
