I should add a disclaimer that although I do play all supports and have played all of them in competitive at a Grandmaster level, Baptiste and Lucio specifically are my lesser played supports, which is why their tips are rather simple. I would like to start working on these 2 heroes more though so I can more confidently give proper advice related to them. All other supports I'm fully comfortable and confident on. None the less I hope these tips are helpful and I hope you enjoyed the video! Please excuse that the background is both PC and Console gameplay, I tried to use clips that would be relevant to the tips, so I used recent gameplay from both platforms.

I love that the Hammond at 12:46 had a Wiley Koyote moment, freezing in mid air, realising he’s screwed and plummeting to his death.

Tree of Life has so many uses it's very fun. Yes mostly you think of it as an ult to heal your team midfight but I've used to block highnoons by placing it right in front of McCree or teammates i want to save, to block Los after grav, to cancel Sigmas ult (you can cancel it by placing the tree right in the middle of his void ult), or to block rein shatter (once accidentally, im not good at reacting to his ult ha). So it can be very versatile!

Extra Ana tip your scoped shots reveal your position easily so dps may dive you move if you aren't hiding your trail properly

I'm guilty of the rotating discord orb. Makes so much sense to keep it on someone and put more pressure on them. I guess it's like dunking someone underwater (dark I know) but one second versus a minute is a big difference. I'm definitely gonna be altering my game play

I'm already learning so much and I'm only up to Bap lol. Really great job on this! I knew about the quick scoping but my eyes aren't great at adjusting from close to far very quickly so I didn't use it at all in the past. But the idea of weaving it in now and then to heal a but faster in a rough situation seems worth it to practice. I have a feeling every hero is going to be good information so I'm gonna go back to watching but thank you for explaining it well but also picking such helpful info ♥

I feel like too many Ana tip guides brush over the scoped shot as this situational thing that you need to be super careful with. While that is somewhat true, you should *always* be looking to put yourself in a position where you can hold the scope for as long as possible. Quick scoping and no scoping are suboptimal shots that you should be able to fall back on when you’re in a suboptimal position, not shots that you should be wanting to use frequently. I’m not saying this in contradiction to your tip, just a deeper exploration of it because I see way too many Anas way too close to the fight because they’re afraid to use the hard scope

good stuff! i think a nice guide you could make is which supports work with each other well. i see so many people going mercy lucio or mercy zen and wondering why it doesn't work. a lot of people don't know the difference between main healer and off healer (also main support and flex support but i think those things are not really important for people who aren't in OWL) so a guide about that will be great!

mercy tip: dva is almost always a bad res, she gets revived in her small form, and has to charge her ult to do any damage. it would be faster for the dva to spawn with her mech and fly into the battle from spawn

Small general tip I have for low rank supports as well, shooting the enemy and healing your team has its own balance to value, healing too much is missed out damage and that damage could have prevented your team from taking damage. On the flip side, healing your team is part of your responsibility, do heal when necessary. Ofc mercy will be blue beaming/healing more while zen players shoot more but each hero has their own balance that you must find.

I disagree that Bap's Regen Burst is instant as there will be times you will die middle of the animation related to the skill... So basically, it is not instant, but pretty fast. Similar case with Brig, but this time the shield isn't tied to animation, but the fact it isn't a frame 1 shield like Reinhardt's shield.

A cool thing you can do for lifeweaver on console is to change his controls to weapon swapping and then make the button to switch weapons be press right joystick. Then make melee press left joystick

Something I always see mercy players do is Rez from the first angle they get to. That is just shifting to a soul and pressing the button immediately. But you have 360° around the souls to choose from. Maybe rezzing from behind or to the side of a soul will give you more cover. You can even rez from above or below. You can often Rez from awkward angles making retaliation from the enemy team impossible.

Ive got a great lifeweaver tip for all of you: Just don’t.

I would love a support with a bow. Like he/she could have different arrows to help the team. Maybe a discord type arrow or maybe the same effect as Ana nade. Freeze arrows👁👄👁 Like all they can switch between different arrows then every arrow shot builds up freeze and slow their movement or one shot cooldown would be fine to

I once had a ‘TikTok moira’ on my team and they just didn’t explain but they were literally just playing normally and doing alright

it's so hard to make lower player understand the force of the discord orb... I got a team blasting me for not giving them more healing with zen even if we were winning because before I swap for zen none of my DPS or Tank were able to kill a member of the enemy team.. I swap for Zen we start killing them everything is good (except my tank who keeps pushing so far away alone he doesn't get healed and Zen isn't a power house of pure healing sooooo) yup

Brig low rank problem isn’t that they want to front line…it’s that they are forced too, do you know how many tanks hide behind supports in low ranks ? Like fr the main issue supports face in low rank is horrible tank who don’t understand their role.
