Nice stand and set up. Please share /show more about pvc pipe joins. In video, it show that outlet is at bottom for top most pipe. Then how does it hold water ? Are you have continuous water flow ? Are you using very thin layer of water ?

Normal & ocassional rain doesn't affect much But if there is continuous rain say 2-3 days, then it can be harmful for plants.. Clouded sunlight is enough for plants, not to worry about that
