If you somehow survive with another Skylander, it doesn't appear. Crusher has the highest amount of health out of every Skylander (if you don't count elites). I think Swarm is based on the Giant Asian Hornet for many reasons. One, the colors. He has the same orange as a giant Asian hornet. Two, the original voice he was supposed to have. Swarm was supposed to be italian but due to some complications at Activision, they made him spanish. Giant Asian hornets have been spotted in italy and spain. Three, the size. Swarm is a giant, his toy is more than three inches tall whereas the giant Asian hornet is three inches in length. These all lead me to believe that he is based on a giant Asian hornet, but either I am wrong, or that's coincidence. Edit: just adding more facts.

I disagree with Spy Rise not having anything more interesting about him, specifically his bio according to his bio, he has a father, not a creator, not a manufacturer, a father, and because it is unclear if it's the same situation as with Gearshift who was created by King Mercurus and treated like his daughter, this would possibly make Spy Rise the only robot Skylander with confirmed "biological" family (there are other Skylanders that come from "races" of robots such as Jawbreaker and Magna Charge, but none of them have confirmed family members) and as for Neo Cortex being the only guest star to be able to talk freely, in the Amiibo comic explaining how Bowser and DK appeared in Skylands Bowser was shown to be able to communicate with other characters using english, which wasn't shown in his gameplay but still also Hex never technically died, same with Cynder and possibly all of the vampire Skylanders, since being in the Undead element doesnt always mean you died other
