Week 79 in this "Ⓗ series", in which we're following the construction of a new 12-story hospital that will occupy an entire city block in San Francisco. This is a construction time-lapse at 900x, with over 36 highlights/closeups at various speeds scattered throughout, compressing the one-week period from December 28, 2015 to January 1, 2016 into about 36 minutes. Non-working days and nights are omitted.
The final week of 2015 is a short 4 working days (instead of the usual 6), but quite a lot of activity is packed into those days. Ironworkers, concrete work, welders, I finally capture some flights of stairs being put into place (after trying for quite a while), we see some new crosswalks painted, as well as someone who apparently has erienerphobia. We have our own little New Years celebration, and take a quick look back at how far things have come since November of 2013.
Happy New Year to all subscribers and viewers! I don't know what we'll be able to see as construction continues in 2016, but I hope you'll follow along as we find out.
