1-Wide Tileable Precision Autocrafter (1.21+)

One wide tileable precision autocrafter with double pulse prevention. This design works with any recipe that uses two or more slots of the crafting table. This can also work with multi-item recipes as long as you have a way of inserting the items into the crafter in the correct order.
Things to note:
This does not work with single slot recipes like blocks to ingots. If you need this there are way simpler designs that would work.
This design is not stateless meaning that it could technically break if loaded and unloaded at the wrong time. This has a really low chance of happening because the copper bulb is only on for a spit second.

To clarify, this design works with any recipe that uses two or more slots *of one ingredient*. You could use it for multi-ingredient recipes, but you'd need additional circuitry to to feed all the ingredients into the input hopper in the right proportions. For instance, to have it craft item frames, you'd have to feed 1 leather for every 8 sticks. But even then, unless you control the inputs carefully there would be a risk of ingredients filling hopper slots in such a way that it blocks one ingredient from entering. Then the crafter would stall until you intervened.

Really great design! I’ve seen a few other 1 wide designs that are basically the same but I think yours has the best configuration. Especially because of how easily it fits into a box loader. I’ll be using this on my iron farm for sure. 😊

Just for anyone wandering ; the seconde crafter can be anything that can preduce a comparator power of 8 like a composter or a lectern.

It actually needs to be something that outputs a singnal strength of 7 and since composters only output 7 for a second before they convert to 8 I just used a crafter.

@@Henness0666 Oh yeah you're right sorry for the misstake. I had allready made my own 1 wide tileable Autocrafter (i still use it because i find mine simpler) with an "8 compost" and it work fine because the observer look the redstone dust directly after the comparater so you need to detect when it goes from 8 to 9. I thought it was the same but you're right you look for the 2nd powder so composters does not work. Thank you for notifying me.

I wanna build this because crafting on mobile is very slow and crafting stacks of stuff is tedious. I could try and mix this with a super smelter to make a super crafter because I cant stand waiting 30 seconds to craft 3 stacks of paper. Thats if it works on bedrock. Update: It works but It gets clogged sometimes. Thanks for this machine.

No, you would have to lock the hopper feeding it if your storage became full to do that.

Can someone explain to me why you'd do all this instead of just leading redstone dust out of the back of the crafter that has a length such that when the crafter is full it has just enough power to reach back to itself? This is what ive been doing in all my builds, I make the return redstone wire vertical so its like 3 blocks tall and maybe 4 deep this makes it also 1 wide tilable. But its just redstone wire, it's literally never broken on any farm I've installed it on. Surely there is a reason for this, like maybe this one doesn't break if somehow 2 materials get into the same slot, but I've never seen this happen with hundreds of afk hours on a fortress farm I have with like 5 of my simple compactors. It's a genuine question btw, why not just use redstone wire? Edit: I just noticed it doesn't fix itself, lol what's the point of doing it this way?!

Can someone explain why every design I see for a compactor like this has all these extra components? I have just been extending a redstone line out the back using 2 vertically stacked building blocks, some glass to go up vertically. But it's literally just blocks and redstone dust, when the output of the crafter is max, there is just enough power to reach back to the crafter. It's dead simple, has never broken.

lag, as in using static components to only change the redstone level by a couple in this design vs a line of dust completely depowering every time it crafts. obviously if it's working for you then there's no need to change but if you had a weaker machine or something like a nether portal gold farm you'd definitely feel the difference imo

I built this exactly as you did in creative (to make some upgrades to my gold farm), but it doesn't output a signal when 9 ingots get into the crafter; it just keeps overfilling it and putting more ingots into it. Any idea why that is?

No, you have to send a redstone pulse. If you place a hopper below it will just pull out the items that the top hopper puts in.

It can only craft something that uses two slots in the crafter or more. If you want to do sticks you can do one of the all dust 1wt crafters.

Wax it? Infact, you should always use fully oxidized copper bulbs because they have the least light which means least lag

For this design it doesn't matter if it oxidizes because I'm using the comparator output of the copper bulb not detecting block updates with an observer. So, you can use any copper bulb variant you want. However, using waxed bulbs or fully oxidized bulbs is always a good idea when using them for redstone.
