Well no worries, in this video, I showcase how Apple's bright Yellow California Poppy color has morphed and age within the past 12 months thanks to my girlfriend using it constantly day in and day out. I switch my cases every day, so it's nice to have a "like-new" comparison of the same wallet side by side. One that has been weather'd in, the other that is almost brand new.

Call me crazy, but I think this is is so cool… If you had the same patina on a case of the same color too…wow I think it looks post apocalyptic video game, like Borderlands or Fallout. Great video!!

I’ve had my golden brown wallet for a year and it’s got the discoloration. I’m going to apply some leather repair paint this weekend to see if I can give it some new life. Was inspired by a restoration video on KZfaq

I absolutely adore magsafe wallets, I have mine Baltic Blue, but the changed leather quality without natural patina and stupid rubber edges that literally melts in your hands after a year, but 50$ for this is really worth it

Really like the long term review! I’d be curious to see if you can clean and restore the look with any leather cleaning products. I’ve seen a variety of techniques, but you have a great sample to test on. :)

I also am a bartender and omg I can’t imagine if I had got this color as well 🥺😭 I’d be sad, especially because California poppy looks BEAUTIFUL brand new. I’ve got sequoia, black and brown 😬 Also what color watch band are you wearing in the very end of this video? Is it the new blue fog???

That wallet looks exactly like my California Poopy iPhone case did after only 4 months!!!! I was so bummed because it truly is a beautiful color. Anyway, went Baltic Blue for the Wallet, and it still looks pristine after 1.5 years of daily use.

Veg tan leather develops a patina. Chrome tan leather just wears out. This looks like chrome tan to me, but kinda hard to tell over video

Good to see you back Sir. That’s some serious patina right there. I had a (Product) Red iPhone case (for the iPhone 5 I think) and it looked near like your girlfriend’s which I did not mind, what I did mind was the feel # Yuck ;-} I dig long time reviews. Thanks.

Omg it Looks horrible 😦 I have an iPhone leather case in a stunning Taupe Color. It looked so beautiful when it was new I couldn’t resist buying it, but after about one month it already looked bad 😐 not only the black dirt spots appeared everywhere, but also all the corners ripped and I managed to get a scratch.

Light coloured leather is never going to age well.I always go for the darker colours.

Lavender sucks! It ages badly way too fast! I know this, because mine sure did. It wears off on the sides pretty quickly. This sure is bad problem for a $60 dollar wallet that holds 2 lousy cards that has this poor quality dye on them that just wears off far too quickly! I tried 1 method of dying my wallet back to the lavender and it didn't go so well. I'll have to find out what will go the distance and see if apple will at least return a faded wallet with in the year of its use.
