1 year review of the GCI outdoor freestyle rocker XL. Just a short review on this awesome chair. This chair is great for camping, fishing, parks and any outdoor event you can think of. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Hope you enjoy the video and let me know what you think of these chairs.

I’m 5’9”, and am reaching with my tip-toes, to rock. I tried out my BIL’s a year or two ago, and don’t recall having that issue. He’s shorter than me, so I’m wondering if he has the “fire pit” version, which is supposed to sit lower🤷🏻‍♂️ I only weigh 200#, but I like the extra seat room, anyway. However, the height of this chair makes it too uncomfortable to enjoy.

I'm 6'2 and the XL ROCKER fits me perfect. Is the xl rocker the same size as the regular freestyle rocker?

There's one thing we don't like about this chair. We can't really sit at rest in it. You have to keep pushing to hold yourself back with your legs because it wants to rock forward and throw you out. And if you do let yourself go forward it puts you in this military sitting posture. Can't really just lean back and relax.

@@BTROutdoors So You're able to lean back or sit straight in yours and just sit at rest without having to have your feet planted on the ground firmly and pushing against it? It doesn't try to rock you forward at all? I was actually wondering if ours was put together wrong or if there's some kind of Way to adjust it, because it just feels weird and off that we have to constantly be pushing.

@@Grayald We bought the chair for the rocking feature, my wife loves to rock. I have never felt like the chair was wanting to rock us forward or push us out. I have used it a lot and found it very comfortable. But we did buy it because it rocked , it was light and easy to carry. I also have a very bad back and can sit in this chair for hours.
