Some parents dont try to shelter their children from the real world. Profanity is a part of life that everyone gets introduced to at some point. I know life as an adult not a walk in the park and I honestly think that children need to be exposed to real life as soon as possible to help prepare their minds for the bullshit that is coming to them as adults. My daughter is turning 5 tomorrow and has better manners than most adults that I know. She hears uncensored music at home and in the car. She plays skyrim and other games that show blood and violence. None of this has turned her into an angry, rude or violent person. People have gotten to be very soft lately. Our kids aren't going to break or be damaged by seeing or hearing some not so nice things.

Sounds like you've got it figured out. However my three year old still has plenty of time to be a child before he has to grow up. I'm sorry you have such a depressing outlook on life and society.!
