Wow! Bristol dragway has changed so much since I first went there in the late seventys. Everything is different. Haven't been there since 2016 I think when I went to the Super Chevy Show.

I thought for a moment it was going to be Thunder overhead as well as in the Valley🙄⛈ I guess with you there, it was muscles watching muscles💪💪💪 That is a lot of noise and horsepower indeed🐎 The sun going down over the mountains was beautiful🤩 Thanks for sharing this NHRA outing that you attended and glad you got some autographs and photo ops🐾🦊🐺

Very cool MMM!! What a fun day you and the kids had. This brought back a memory of mine where many years ago I saw Shirley Cha Cha Muldowny race at a small drag strip in Union Grove Wi. At least I think that was her name. Anyway, she was one of the first women to race a dragster. I can imagine your ears ringing for quite awhile afterwards even with the ear plugs. Glad you had such a fun day! Even got autographs and experienced the pit! Thanks for sharing the beautiful surroundings as well MMM! Be safe.

So guess what? We met Shirley Muldowney that day, and got an autographed poster! She's a class act and a legend (3x NHRA champion). I didn't shoot any film while meeting her, but let me take a picture of the poster and put it on Instagram. I wish I had filmed her, but just was kind of enjoying the moment with the kids and forgot. Thanks for watching, and glad you enjoyed!

i live 7 hours away but i really wanna come out one weekend i have a 89 silverado short wheel base with a 454 it’s pretty strong but nothing crazy

@@MrMountainMan awesome thanks for the info we will be going in June our seats are in the II section just a little further downfrom where you was I wondering where your seats was cause they looked close to where we will be by the way I can't find advanced or prepaid parking options do you have any info me on parking

@@GaryAutwell I haven't reserved this year, but last 2 years, I reserved I believe a North Parking lot pass for roughly $10 in advanced. I may have had to call over the phone and order it. I do remember parking was odd. It was on Bristol's main website and not Ticketmaster.

That is a lot of speed and a lot of noise. Those cars have got a lot of power. I would not want to be in one of them. My son has gone to several of these races.

Yep during the pandemic and year after NHRA schedule was getting shuffled and this event was moved around. Normal time is in June. 🏁
