Thank you for your input! So far, from the sims that I was running, crit has more impact on the blue specs than haste. But that, of course, are sims for "stand and shoot", not practical applications.

Hey Coach! I've used your builds since Devestation came out and Dragonflight was released in PvP arena and though im nowhere near as good (XD) I finally reached Combatant 1 thanks to you! How does more health give evoker more damage? Isn’t it percentage based? For example, at 100% health on your target you get 100% of your mastery, at 50% health you get 50% of your mastery bonus.

hey, can you see a world where this class won't be a 2min-CD cannon? I am looking to gear a DEvo but I really like to not be big CD reliant (I main destrolock and enh shaman with RNG ascendance), do you think even a subpar sustained damage build could exist? Idc about playing meta or minmaxing, I just want to be able to get 2k without being straight-up meme (I'm 2.3k on others). Thank you for video and advices :)

Quick questions about the rotations: Are there specific moments you use burst rotation 1 or 2, or are they interchangeable? Also is there ever a time when you use the "normal" sustained rotation within dragonrage window, instead of using dragonrage with the burst rotations?

I'm confused about crafting boots. Your options are a boot with an effect on it already, picking an enchantment that gives you more dmg when you cc and one that gives you more dmg when someone misses their cc on you

maybe i'm mistaken but why do you list burst rotation 1 without shattering star buffing your fire breath at least? 20% damage buff on your tip the scales combo is pretty big.

I don’t think you can use fear/sheep as a comparison for sleepwalk. While the abilities are the similar that they are castabke CCs, the context of the ability (the class it’s a part of) is not the same. If we gave every class the same things that other classes have, the game is homogenized and each class is just a reskin of another. The point is that while yes, evoker CC is not spammable, the goal of the design team should be to give them an advantage in a different way over the classes with spammable, rather than just making every class the same. That’s like a demon hunter complaining that their AoE stun is dispellable and costs fury when a windwalker doesn’t. They are just different classes and balanced differently in other ways. Or like ferals complaining that they don’t have subterfuge like rogues do, or vanish like rogues do. It’s just different. You can’t draw specific comparisons between abilities and ignore the rest of the class, it just doesn’t work that way.

I'm really enjoying the Devastation Evoker, but one thing is so annoying that I switched to mage. The range of only 25 yards, I play a lot of epic BGs and due to the short range you can't reach the cannons that are a little further up on IoC or Wintergrasp. A Ret Pala, on the other hand, does..
