or maybe the biggest screw job is not allowing MSU to have more than 2 home games during a 37 year stretch and hand picking refs during that time as well

Amazing. I remember watching this with my dad and him running over and putting me on his shoulders screaming when they won. I was 9. I miss my 90s Spartans.

Ironic: UM students threw the marshmellows into end zone. Desmond Howard slips on these same marshmellows and drops the ball.

The Spartans' best receiver, Courtney Hawkins, was hurt and didn't play in this game. Maybe if he'd played, MSU would have won by more than one point and avoided the controversial ending. It's also worth noting that a call went against MSU earlier in the game when an apparent Jon Vaughn fumble was taken back.

Notice that Dan Enos came up to the opposing QB after the game ended to clearly say something to the effect of "hey, good game, you guys are a heck of a team." How far away we are from that today.

Shows that pre-season rankings are a waste of time. Obviously Michigan was not the number 1 team in the nation. They ended with a 4 way tie for first place with Michigan State, who coming in had a losing record. It's awesome that we beat the number 1* team in the nation but they were definitely not as tough as a number 1

Dan Enos reminds me of Doug Flutie. Tico Duckett was a great RB so was H Hickson

Wow I never knew Michigan got an onside kick and actually had a decent hail mary attempt at the end. Crazy game.

And yet despite all their chances to win, you'll never hear a Michigan fan admit that they just plain lost. It was the refs fault.
