On thing that I agree is to never touch the level of the channel with automation. I don't use your trick tho, but I double click the midi, then select the audio volume inside the midi clip or audio to automate fade in or fade out in the clip itself. Same for panning, and more other automation as pitch, so the main channel keeps always the same level.

Shortcut buddy, it’s a max for live plug in where u can map any plug-in to a key command. Has saved me sooooo much time 🙌🏻

Maybe I am old fashioned. But i prefered saving default set in preferences not cluttering up the browser more. 11 was definitely a few steps backwards. Clip view is totally unintuitive also. Good tips here though.

Thank you. For sure, That's a good tip as well. By the clip view do you mean the "Notes", "Envelopes", "note expression" panels when you activate a clip? I feel that there's somehow too much going on. Especially when you activate envelopes and want to edit note length and it doesn't seem to work at all.

Hi. Thanks for watching. I wouldn't say lame because I know that it took me very long to get at least a bit of the idea of what I'm doing in Ableton and I have been putting away making music for 2 years because I didn't feel like opening Ableton at all. So I'm thinking mostly of beginners, but yes sometimes an intermediate users as well. What is the thing that was (or is) the most difficult in Ableton for you?

There r all pretty 101, basic, but often forgotten or for lazyness often they sort of forgotten, or oess used. I think they are all really good tips, and I wouldn't know what to add as actually they cover mostly all.
