Seiko, Citizen, Orient, Timex and Vostok are the kings of affordable watches. Casio and G-Shock too if you include quartz. very sensible video indeed. well done sir

My Vostok has traveled the world with me, far exceeded its depth limitation and still looks as good as new. Would highly Recommend the Amphibia

I've worn the Promaster for months. It's such a good watch. Highly accurate for a mechanical and the day window is sweet. The lume is really bright for night time use.

Seagull 1963 is a must have. You can get one with a sapphire crystal for ~130$ if you look hard enough.

@@alexrider8616 Ali Express Straight from China . Sugess (company) is one of the best . Good Luck !! 38 mm : hands match the dial better 40 mm is nice also , but with same handset , they don’t reach the perimeter as nicely. I am referring to the chronograph second hand and the minute hand .

Bought an Invicta Pro Diver in a blue dial recently for under $100 on Amazon. Wanted it just for a daily beater but its actually much nicer then I expected especially for the price!

The true is that when You once try affordable Chinese microbrand watch You will absolutely never ever go back to anything from Orient, Seiko, Citizen etc. below 250 bucks or even 500. I am not talking about homage/clonage but some originally designed models of Boderry, Phoibos or San Martin. They really kick ass of famous producers and give You lot of quality and super cool feeling with nice look. But still lot of people rather wear logo or "heritage and history" then just having fun and enjoying having nice piece of steel on the wrist.

You just name the only Invicta worth owning… Unfortunately, the brand has a well-deserved stigma… The system 51 is cool I have one… Just keep in mind it’s sort of a toy…. Love your list!

Yeah, I agree, there aren't many Invicta that "do it" for me, but these two are great. Yes, agreed on the Swatch. Still, for the price, can get quite a few years out of enjoyment out of it

The Invicta 1953 is a homage to the first Rolex submariner which came out in 1953, not the first Rolex ever. Rolex was founded in 1905, not 1953.

61 has a Brushed bezel and comes on a nylon strap. 51 has a polished bezel and comes on a bracelet. If you see them in my videos, the one I have is the 61

@@2K9s I think it was the BN0200-05X, orange face with black bezel and titanium case. The one I got was actually a manufacturer refurb so that’s probably the main reason for the lower price

Invicta should not be in this list, cos u will open up other comparable brands like Pagani, San Martin, and all other brands u can find from Ali Express.. Agree that the Seagull may be included as a brand with a Chinese movement😊

Not really, now granted some watches they make are well made and reliable but mostly they make oversized overpriced generic movement watches and everyone has them.

You forgot the replica Rolex from turkey with stainless steal case and a Miyota 8215 movement which is used by companies like Citizen. You'll pay about 120€ for a watch with better quality then that Invicta pro diver. 😅😅

@@ChronometerCheck please tell me we're the difference between any Invicta Rolex look alike and those mentioned replicas is... I'm not talking about super clones that people use to rip off other people. What I'm annoyed about is that those fake watches today have better quality them many watches people buy daily for way more money. (Don't understand me wrong I don't mind your view of disliking replicas) but for example the moon swatch a watch even swatch employees call plastic waste costs 250$ and I can get a fully functioning automatic stainless steel watch with a special focus on detail because it's supposed to look way more expensive then it is for half the price. Even though Invicta might have a "sub" for around 100€ with a 8215 movement it's still not as clean as the fake because Invicta knows it's selling you a cheap watch and doesn't mind you noticing it after a few quick looks the fake on the other hand is supposed to make you feel like you have the real deal (although in this price segment their still way off from an Original Rolex).

@@ChronometerCheck and to the degrading the industry that's also kind of a hoax... All those companies claiming they lose millions because of fakes are lying to your faces... It's not like a person who has the money to buy a Rolex and really wants one buys a fake. It's the people who can't afford it who are most likely to buy the fake. So it's not like they lose a customer. (At least when it comes to high value items, when it comes to basic fashion like tshirts from basic brands it's something else) the only thing they can really be pissed about is other people making money with their designs and that's a valuable point but still especially high fashion brand like Rolex don't make any penny less because of replica watches. I personally don't mind fakes as long as the person wearing it is being real about it and I know many people who think that way.

You can not put mechanical and reliable in the same sentence when it comes to watches. Ive owned plenty of autos and the fact that any mechanical watch can simply stop ticking when not in use takes away from the definition of reliable. Quartz is king everyone.
