what tablets would you recommend using, mine just can't keep up with the cam. it is a new RCA mercury 7, but when I plug into the controller the image breaks up and gets chunky, and the touch pad is slow to react.

I'm still stuck with my P3P which I find it hard to use as I travel a lot and it would help to be able to use follow me as I sail and do a lot of water related activities. I just can't afford the next step to the Mavic let 😥 I can't go a day without looking at the prices to try and find something good but i can't.

years ago I hard wired an Cobra 400 inverter directly to the battery of the car hence it, eliminated the need for 12vdc electronic accessories.

I have that same tablet holder you showed, and it is terrible. Where it connects to the plate is so loose that the tablet pivots from side to side like a metronome, even on the maximum grip. Also, that same grip goes down below the plate, and obscures the USB socket that you need to run the tablet ;)

If I'm at a parking lot I use my car's hood as helipad, but if at a park or beach I use a pizza box as a helipad!! So yeah no need to buy helipad!

Kim Jong-un great idea!! Late for me, I got the helipad and I’m happy with it, keeps my drone clean and I just put it in my bag pretty quick. Also gives me a PRO LOOK. Not bad

i had the large powerbank and it broke after 5months.....i'd reccomend the Anker counterpart....i've used it for 8months now and it still works perfectly

mikolaj64 yes. The fly more combo comes with the standard 4 way hub (the slower one). There is an after market charger that does three at the same time. Let me try and dig up a link. Supposedly it's pretty dang awesome.

Now the mavic is complete the only thing I did not like about it is it could not hold an iPad but that accessory completes it and now the drone is epic this video is very helpful and it makes the drone a lot better

You should have the batteries around 50% power if you are going for a week or more whithout flying it. Controller doesnt matter as much. I own a mavic pro, so its the same thing pretty much. (P.S if its only for around two or three days you could leave it fully charged)

I would rather buy an additional AC Power Adapter for Euro 27.00 (incl. localized powercable) from DJI to charge two batteries at the same time. ;)

I agree, you could buy 2 more chargers for $50 from DJI and charge 3 batteries in an hour and 5-10 minutes.

Chris Jensen if your speaking of the blue one than it's getting tons of great reviews. If you didn't get the fly more bundle than I would for sure recommend grabbing one of those after market chargers.

Sadly, the controller tries to charge my Samsumg Tab S2. I now fly with a power bank connected to the controller. A bit bulkier but no more power problems.

Keep in mind not all "cigarette lighters" are created equal. Most cars now have primary and secondary chargers that output different voltage that can also fluctuate with whether your car is on or not.

The best solution is getting DC to AC inverter, you can plug in your cigarette lighter and plug any devices that you regularly plug at home, there is different sizes and prices. I have Cobra 400watt and its good enough for smaller devices, but I'm looking in to a 1200watts inverter to plug a power-strip and charge several devices at the same time. Look on Amazon they have a big selection.

Passive range extenders are pretty useless from the reviews and tests I've seen, personally I thing they are a gadget for the sake of having an extra gadget. I have however ordered an iPad holder and remote stick protector, both items will be pretty useful imo.

Cool. I really like the tablet holder. Using an iPad is just so much more comfortable. Personally I can say that the range extender have done their job in 80% of the cases, even though I don't try to extend the range, but to strengthen the signal. Yes, would be better to call them signal boosters or something rather than range extenders. The batteries make having further range a moot point anyway, if you plan on being able to fly back to where you started.

Also, make sure you face them toward the drone at all times, or you're going to get much worse signal.

Why not? Have a USB cable that is long enough to go from the battery pack to your phone and it will charge. Have the battery pack in your pocket and the cable going form that to where your phone is in the controller. The phone will charge while being used. Not as fast as if it was off, but it'll charge, which is better then draining and going dead.

JB Dragon to operate the drone your phone must be plugged in to the controller, which I assume you do not know. Therefore you can't charge and operate the drones simultaneously

I'm trying to STOP spending money on drones,/supplies! Since I bought my Mavic I've purchased several other drones/batteries/accessories.. such a great hobby/obsession.. I personally feel that if it doesn't have GPS or sensors it is a toy.. which I have a few of. Piloting in FPB is like flying while firmly planted on the ground. Perfect for me!

There is a charger that will charge three batteries (and two USB devices) simultaneously. It is a serious bit of kit with a kettle lead and a fan and an all-metal construction it says "I am powerful!". Car charging four batteries consecutively... how far are you driving? Are you invading Poland?
