I really feel that the Bollywood audience is getting hypocritical day by day!!! People would complain about trash content like Baaghi 3 and Race 3 but when a project like Jagga Jasoos or Tumbadd comes out they just cancel it by saying it is boring or confusing!!!

I watched Jagga Jasoos with a theatre filled with just 23 people and while stepping out of the theatre I was thinking what I just saw!! Coz for me Jagga Jasoos is one of the best cinematic experience ever. This film doesn't deserve to be a flop.

Jagga Jasoos has to be the most underrated movie of Bollywood. Some people ignored it thinking it's a kid's movie, some people didn't like it because it was a musical. What matters the most about this film is it's brilliance in showing a vast story through music scores that made it enjoyable and felt less like a simple basic narration. The music part of the film is what makes it magical. I still remember the whole Miss Mala murder case lyric by lyric. Jagga Jasoos is really compelling and it is a shame to see that people failed to recognise it.

I'm not a SRK fan but I literally loved Zero although the end wasn't great but the comedy in the movie and the acting was way too amazing and Laal Kaptaan is literally the best movie of 2019... A year where we got disasters like Dabangg 3 and housefull 4 there was this movie... Everyone says that in Omkara Saif did the best acting of his career but I believe Laal Kaptaan was that movie.. Saif literally nailed it

Jagga Jasoos wasn't made for a dumb audience. It was a Masterpiece and it is perfect Disney movie!

I fear that Ludo or Sardar Udham would not have worked so well and receive massive appreciations if they have chosen theatre instead of OTT, OTT always helps you to gain a class audience and locate the perfect bench of the audience it deserves

Jagga Jasoos is literally one of the best films I've ever watched. And you can clearly see the hard work of the makers when almost every scene or dialogue has to be musically written and communicated. Also, stellar performances by Ranbir and Katrina made the film a MUST WATCH!! Definitely one of my favorites!

I still remember, that while watching jagga jasoos in theater, I felt like I was in a musical adventure, one of the best theatre experience had in my life, but most of the indians got bad taste and rejected this masterpiece !!!

Tubelight and zero and jagga jasoos were good movies with very good performances by salman shahrukh and ranbir but they had lack in screenplays and writing which made them a bit underrated

In my view Srk Ra.one was the best superhero movie despite of weak execution movie had strong bgm, amazing original action, futuristic concept, unique costume, hero crossover, R-rated scenes, great camera shots, neat vfx etc everything that you expect from Hollywood superhero movies. all it need was second chance like suicide Squad 2 and support like synder cut, movie came up in the times when there was no MCU or DCEU. Nobody knows who is iron man

Laal kaptaan was a real masterpiece, I was mesmerized by the performance of saif ali khan, the cinematography and the story. I just loved this movie. It is sad that we as an audience didn't appreciate such type of movies and go for masala movies.

I didn't saw jagga jasoos in theatres as everyone around me said that it was a bad movie. But when i was watching an episode of kbc back in 2017 ; there was a question related to this film. After that Amitabh Bachchan said that he saw that movie and it was a fantastic movie. I thought why would he had a different perspective? And then to find it out i saw it and had to say he was right. I and my entire family saw it on television. And me and my parents loved that movie. It was a different experience.🙂

I enjoyed watching zero in theaters first half was hilarious but the second half was like Thugs of Hindustan 🤣🤣& Jagga Jassos was a visually spectacular movie I enjoyed it, Ranbir's acting was top-notched and the same goes for Bombay velvet I feel sad for Anurag sir it wasn't soo bad. Laal kaaptan was awesome it was like a comic book visualized perfectly with a good storyline & music.

I'm glad I watched Tumbbad recently (on Amazon Prime). Definitely, should've watched this in theatre back when it was released. I went to watch Stree (which released in the same year) but not this movie. Tumbbad is a must watch movie.

Jagga not only delayed due to budget but also the script... Anurag Basu wanted to make serious movie but then he shifted it to comedy..

I loved Hawaaizaada, when it came on TV. I guess like the storylining and the plot, which connects to me of that time. IDK of others, but it had been on my favourite movie list and will remain there. It deserves even more.

I enjoyed Jagga Jasoos. Even I became his fan after watching this movie because an actor needs a gut to experiment like this. His acting was good enough. Galti se Mistake song was even blockbuster at that time

Also, like to mention about Dibakar Bannerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. I didn't know why the film failed. It was such a good movie. The theme , the background score ,the acting all was so good. Should definitely have its sequel.

The way zero was made the special effects VFX and so much effort was put up.. red chillies has put up so many videos and stuff and when we see the hardwork it shows how much srk put in 1 film which Some actors don't put in 10 films

The problem of our audience is that we focus on how experimental projects failed rather than appreciating the effort and encouraging the ambition.

I feel like Jagga Jasoos and Laal Kaptan should have got more appreciations because both the films were so good.

Haven't watched anything except Tumbadd and Laal Kaptaan....these 2 films were cinema at its best. Reasons- 1) Both the films were extraordinary periodic drama. Never before seen concepts and execution. 2) The two films had a unique concept made for the emerging intellectual audience. 3) They bridged all the gaps between Story line, great dialogues, cinematography, brilliant performances, and a promise for a sequel seamlessly. It didn't feel like fiction at all. 3) These 2 movies actually tingled our imagination and were no less than a Hollywood movie in terms of VFX and picturization of characters. It gave us THOUGHTFUL CINEMA. 4) The theme of revenge in Laal Kaptaan and Greed in Tumbadd were once in a lifetime experiences. You feel immersed in their world the way you never feel in other movies. 5) Both these films had a very satisfying plot, character arc, social message. It incorporated art for the sake of art and art for the sake of life. Rest of the movies, I haven't watched so won't comment on them. But I seriously believe that Indian audience is segregated as cinema goers and movie lovers. Cinema goers are those strata where they want EASY ENTERTAINMENT without using any brains. MOVIE LOVERS are those limited number of people who make these kind of movies hit on OTT.

To be honest zero’s first half was mind blowing,i was laughing a lot in the theatre but second half was intolerable.

Ranbir is the only actor who being a starkid performs amazingly in all films. Consider barfi, JJ, Sanju< yeh jaawani hai deewani and many more

RAAVAN, It was a great film , to be honest we can consider it as one of the best cinematographically awesome movie of Indian Cinema. Everything was on point and the movie was so good!! Actually we can see the Ramayana from Raavan's point of view. How a brother would've felt when his sister is abused and on process of taking revenge he falls in love , Wooow, Manirathnam was definitely ahead of time and of course the Music, AR Rahman sir was so brilliant in Musical arrangements, Idk why always ARR's music most of the times goes unnoticed in Bollywood, Coming back to Raavan, This movie deserved a lot and we failed to give what it deserved!

Laal kaptaan, jagga jasoos, Ravan if these movies were released today they would be blockbusters..

@5ocial you forgot to mention TE3N, which included Amitabh bachchan, Vidya Balan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This is film was an award winning film which revolved around Amitabh who was in search of her grand daughter who was kidnapped 8 years ago and how he finds that criminal. Hands off to all star casts actings which made this film the best of 2016. But it wasnt recognized in the cinema. I request Team 5ocial to pls watch this film if they havent.

I saw hawaizada when I was just a kid and didn't even know about good movies.I loved it and was surprised that not many people knew about it.

Hawaizaadeyin and Jagga jasoos, both were absolutely underrated films among the above list.

I remember watching Hawaizaada in the theatre. I was super excited because I had read an article on Shivkar Talpade many years and seeing a movie made on his life got my interest peaked.

Laal kaptaan deserved a lot more from the theatre audiences. Post releasing the same in OTT people started liking the movie and the movie garnered postivie reviews.

Jagga jasoos was a wonderful and joyful movie containing every thing a film must have i.e action , romance , comedy , emotions, suspense, adventure, songs and dance . And all these things were so fresh and new. The way of presentation was so unique and innovative. Seriously I and all the jagga jasoos fans want its part 2 and this time i think audiance will not disappoint the creators and actors .

I remember when "jagga jasoos" was released in theatres I was in middle school and was really pulled by the title I wanted to go see it with my parents but then at school I heard my friends saying it wasn't that fun and my heart shrank as i really wanted to see it, then i somehow forgot about it, but in lockdown i remembered this incident and watch the movie alone online and it was such a refreshing feeling, the movie was great wish i had watched it onthe big screen I also watched hawaizada and i remember feeling so amazed by the movie that i went on a full research on plane history 😂😂😂 it was fun These types of movie is what i wanna see getting hyped in india, hope so a day like that comes, but till than it's me and my small phone screen enjoying these whenever i want wherever i want

Any movie is an outcome of a creative team, be it director who imagines the entire movie frame by frame and does all the hardwork to bring it to silver screen or writer or producer, music director. Each and every one involved directly or indirectly in the making of a flick is a creative person. It is very easy for audience or critic to pass judgements or write off such creation which is based on their expectation. To me all movies mentioned in the episode are very good and watchable. Thanks to all the directors who had the courage to go offbeat in making such movies. Neither collection audience or critic no one can discourage such creative souls in bollywood industry. Keep making such unconventional movies.

Raavan,Tubelight and Zero deserves better in my opinion.

Raavan was a huge hit in Tamil. What went wrong in Hindi was the casting. Vikram should hv played the Ravan Role and AB should hv played the cop. It would hv easy for people to relate AB as a cop. And if you watch how Vikram carried Raavnan in Tamil,u will know that he was the perfect cast for that role.

Zero flopped at the box office because it clashed with KGF chapter 1 but it was a very good film 👍👍

My heart goes out to "laal kaptan" and "Bombay velvet" team. It's unfortunate their film didn't work despite being such good film. I was really rooting for shahrukh and Anand l Rai 's zero , the fantasy film just didn't landed well, the film had potential if made Little different.
