Fact 4 is incorrect. The Kop was never scheduled to be demolished, and there were never any protests to save it. IN 94 due to the recommendations made by the Taylor inquiry in the wake of the Hillsborough disaster, all stadia in the top 2 divisions had to be all-seater. As the Kop at the time was a standing terrace the interior had to be demolished and replaced with seats.

Just behind the goal in anfield Rd end there is a horse buried that use to pull the rollers over the pitch back in the 1940 they say at nighttime u can hear horses running around anfield at night
