3:32 It works on the left side only because Nintendo changed it to soft lock the player in between the switch and the on/off block when hitting the switch that is over an on/off block to prevent cheese. They programmed it so that the player would be pushed to the left when ground pounding. When you place the setup all the way to the left side, the player clips through the block since the player is not allowed to go further left.

8:32 this glitch is perfect for your levels to be better instead of always putting the hidden block even though the coin is visible Ps: especially with the music block as I remember the pink blocks of Super Mario Bros. 3

Smashy, about that Mega Mushroom setup. You can clip through the roof without having the mushroom in the roof. You can just have Mario in a clown car in a 2 block high hallway. Then just have the player collect a mushroom. Thanks for showcasing that btw ;) . Oh, and can you link my Twitter along with the other credited people since I found that Mega Mushroom setup?

How the on/off block clip glitch works is *actually* *surprisingly* *simple*. If you ground pound an on/off block that has a dotted line block directly above it, the game pushes you to the left of the on/off block as a default. If it is the left edge of the screen, the game can't push you to the left, so it pushes you down and through the on/off block.

@@ToaderTheToad, who knows why Nintendo added this mechanic in their game? There could be a lot of reasons: maybe their computers break when a glitched level gets uploaded, maybe they don't like when we laugh of these glitches! Who knows, however?...

@@ToaderTheToad, I know what do you mean! 😰 😉 I also don't like when a cool usefull glitch gets patched by Nintendo! I mean... the "Walk and jump through walls" was the funniest glitch for me! How can they patch it? 🙁 And also, you can see which one is a glitch and which one isn't! 😉 You know how? All you need to do is to upload a short level with the glitch you are thinking at and wait. If Nintendo delete your level, that means it counts as a glitch. If they doesn't, it doesn't count and you still can build levels with it! 😀 So... 😏

2:56 it's because when Mario clips through the block he get pushed off on the left. But if there is a screen limit the game wont be able to do that so it just makes him clip to the bottom

I think for the on off switch clip it's because it pushes you to the side, but since on that side there's nowhere to push you, you go through it.

Sounds about right from a developer view. There is no block on the left, so mario is pushed there, but then the camera pushes him back to the right, and he keeps falling so he clips through the block.

2:55 this is easy to explain if you think about it. since you can't be pushed left when the switch is in the leftmost, you'll have to go down.

On-Off Switch Clip This happens because the game pushes you out of a on-off block to the left by default. If you are on the left side of the screen, the game doesn’t know what to do because if there is a block to the left, it will push you up, but there is no block, but Mario can’t go left. So instead he goes through it!!!

The on off block clip probably happens because the block tries to push you to the left, but it can’t. I guess they never thought someone would put an on off block on the left edge of the level. :P

if you put launchers on wedges with the correct size at the forest night theme and in the castle theme, you can walk on poison and lava (it works at all styles, but at SM3DW forest it doesn't work because it can just have water)

New glitch: death sprite immediate change This works only on endless challenge or story mode. The style is Super Mario 3D World (only) and it works with Mario (only). While small Mario, collect a fire flower or mushroom, immediately pause and press 'Start Over'. Then something weird will happen. Look carefully at Mario while he changes his death sprites immediately.

I think why the switch clip works because it always pushes you left, but on the left side of level which does not act like a block, it can't push you so you clip. Of course thi is all what I observe because I don't have it. Also, at 6:17 people would just use invis blocks instead of crates.

The on off switch clip works because the game prioritizes falling/clipping to the left (as you can see on the other on off switches) and on the left where there is an impenetrable wall.. mario can only go downwards and thus clips through the on off switch.

I can explain the on-off Mario will always get pushed to the left if you put it on the left side it's next move will to go down then depending which side is blocked it will go up/down

don't know if you covered this yet, but i got stuck when setting a pow block next to a pipe, and i got stuck under them. i was unable to move at all, and even jumping was useless.

As 2.0 vers. some glitches not work anymore (i tester ye) 1. work 2. work 3. I dont have someone now 4. work 5. work 6. Sadly this one not work anymore. (When Powblock comeout of ?-Block its just fly away (to right)) 7. work 8. I dont have someone now 9. Idk (when i play, mostly Yoshi stay in Ground and not on trampoline 10. Sadly this one not work anymore too. (Coin removed after remove track and if you play its just that block)

I added the coin block glitch to a level and it got deleted twice in a row. It called it corrupted data.
