I actually think that the mosaic blocks would unironically be something cool to have in vanilla. It basically combines aspects of both banners and glazed terracotta to have useful customizable blocks that seem to stay within the design rules of vanilla.

YES I've been waiting for a dedicated water bar mod so I don't have to use Tough as Nails. Edit: Dangit, it's fabric only. Guess I need to learn how to install those finally.

It's easier than forge, just install fabric by getting the fabric installer, then put the mod(s) in the mods folder. And don't put any forge mods in with fabric mods. Most fabric mods also require the fabric API. Just use the API like a normal mod.

That's ok; Fabric is superior anyways ;p. But seriously, it's super easy to install: just use the installer from the official website, then place the Fabric API into the 'mods' folder. Boom-you already have Fabric. Also, remove any forge mods from that folder, otherwise it may crash. Pretty sure you can easily manage multiple Minecraft installations with MultiMC.

you're a life saviour with the dehydration mod,i've been searching for something like it for so long,best i've found on my own was survive,but the survive mod is more like tough as nails with way too many additional features,you were suppose to be able to dissable them but it's bugged whenever i tried toleave only thirst bar on everything else such as energy,temperature exetera still wasenabled it just didn't show the bars for them when i dissabled them,i searched for alternative for so long and data packs have been single player only,now with this mod i can finaly have this option on my server,you're a life saviour once again dude

I suggested a change to smooth swapping to change the animation to an ease-in ease-out rather than a linear one and the creator implemented the change

YES! Finally, a good mod that hides the UI when you're not using it. The only other one I found permanently disabled it unless you were in your inventory, which was a little tricky. Oh, wait... 1.17 and Fabric only... NOOOO I'll keep an eye on the mod anyway, see what happens. Thanks for always having great suggestions!

Mosaic blocks feel like they could be in the vanilla game. There's already glazed terracotta, so mosaic blocks would be a great addition for builders if Mojang decided to add them, even though they do not take features from mods anymore.

I feel like all these mods that say "We have over 100-400+ biomes!" really just have 15 max. I've never seen more than 20 biomes in any biome mod. Less you feel like counting forest with small trees and forest with slightly larger trees lmao

You could look at the locate biomes command to determine if they are claiming sub biomes as additional biomes. If you just fly around in creative you won't find as many biomes, which could create bias based on first impressions. I think some mods reuse trees and add biome variants though (Biomes You'll go reuses trees, and Traverse adds desert and savanna variants).

No mod out there has said 100-400 new biomes. I think biomesoplenty add the most 'new' biomes that you havent seen in vanilla. There is definately atleast 30/40. Sometimes a new biome can be created by using existing blocks but in different orientation. Sorry but if you actually expect to see 400 new biomes in a single mod, you got issues.

mojang really needs to see these mods and try to add some in to the updates. the rapid block placement for custom mode would of been helpful. hour glass mod should of been allowed in the update for map customization. terralith should of been a custom for map crafting.

You should’ve checked out jjthunder overhauled cliffs. It’s a mod that adds crazy world generation and has increased height up to 832 blocks. It’s also overhauls the nether and the end, increasing the height to 256 with bigger caves for the nether and hilly islands for the end. This is a mod that is for fabric and forge and works well with biomes o plenty, better nether and better end. It’s also a data pack too.

The Tweakaroo mod is much better than the accurate block placement. It has that feature in it, but also has a ton of other building features that make building structures and Redstone much easier. It works great in conjunction with the carpet mod.
