$10 BAK CHOR MEE in Singapore! Michelin-Starred TAI HWA Minced Meat Noodles| Is it Worth your Money?

Bak Chor Mee is one of the quintessential Singaporean dishes in par with the Hainanese Chicken rice
and more. In the few years that I've lived here, I've had my fair share of Minced Meat Noodles, and
locals/foreigners say that Tai Hwa Pork Noodle is one of the best. Today, I've come to Hill Street to try and
find out if it is worth all the hype.
I tried the Minced Pork Noodles dry (10sgd) which has all the elements below:
-Mee Pok(flat noodles)
-Minced Pork
-Pork Meatballs
-Pork Dumplings
-Pork Strips
-Pork Liver
-Crispy Pork Lard
-Crispy Fried Sole Fish

-Chili

Greetings from an Sg local! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the food! Ignore the trolls. Personally 10 bucks for a bowl of noodle is insane in pricing haha! Stay safe ! I always prefer Mince meat noodle with extra vinger to have added *kick*

Thanks! Their version has a generous amount of vinegar actually which I love! I personally wouldn't mind paying for the same quality and quantity 🤪

@@foodiemommaph perhaps you could try this Bak Chor Mee at 710 Clementi West Street 2, #01-247, Singapore 120710 ( is a Japanese Hawker uncle that cooks it really well! )

Nope will not wait that long . Max 15 mins longer is not worth it. Many stores can do good noddles with sauce.

I agree that Lucky Me Pancit canton is good under the instant category 😊 But this bowl of noodles in particular is made out of fresh noodles and ingredients and I think it's more comparable to La Paz Batchoy 😊
